Organs Major and Accessory

The digestive system has major organs and accessory organs. The reading mentions seven of each type. Please name one major or accessory organ and its function.

One of the major organs of the digestive system is the stomach. It stores adn churns food, pepsin digestive protein, HCI activates enzymes, breaks up food, kills germs, mucus protects the stomach wall and there's limited absorption.
