Science shows scientists special studies about snakes, slugs, sharks and seals.

I couldn't think of any things that made sense so I used this one:

Her raw red eyes will
the bands to separate.
Her labcoat weighs heavy
on shoulders hunched over the apparatus.
Her gloved hands ache from pipetting.
Not long now.

What planet is grey and yellow and has rings?
I believe it is famous for its icy flat rings in several groups of strings.
Have you guessed this planet yet?
Are you part of the Saturn set?
When you look high in the sky, it sparkles with bling.

Wouldn't it be great
to become a cell.
Hurry up! Don't be late!
Have to shrink you! It's all well!
Touring bones and veins too,
Red blood cells swim through plasma,
No! That's not goo!
The extra fluid in the blood; Yeah!
Oh look! Platelets!
You want a scab?
They make it!
Don't be a crab!
So now you see
What it would be
to be a cell!

I used personification a few times.

Isn’t it beautiful
that we are made of cells?
So simple, yet so complex
so small and yet so powerful.Onion cells by Asagio from morguefile

Busy inside us
replicating, dividing
regenerating
growing at a rapid pace.
Supplying us with energy.
Giving us life.

So simple, yet so complex.
A myriad of cells
interacting with other cells.
All united in one.

Where does it come from?
A giant tall tree?
Where does it come from?
Let’s read, and let’s see!
Trees you can see,
Growing so tall,
tree
Start out as something,
That’s really quite small…
Like bushes, and cacti,
And grasses, and weeds,
Trees begin their long life,
By sprouting from seeds…
This poem has some similes.

In the early part of spring,
You will hear, many birds sing.
They are just letting, the rest of us know,
Winter is over, spring melted the snow.

You will notice, a beautiful scene,
The trees will slowly, begin to turn green.
Chipmunks and bunnies will come out and play,
Bears will no longer, sleep during the day.

It's exciting, when spring finally arrives,
Bees will make honey, inside their hives.
So much to do, so much to see,
Insects and animals, are happy and free.

Just Imagine....

The ground under your feet starts shaking
Picture frames fall off the wall
The walls and the roof start breaking
You don't know what it the world is happening at all
A ceiling support comes crashing down
Your sister's gonna cry
Your parents wear a horrible frown
Is there something falling from the sky?
You make your way to the creaking door
The air is clouded with dust
You don't want to be here anymore
Finally you're out the door, the wind blows a big gust
You run across the street and see a woman very frantic
She holds a small child's, with tears streaming down its face
The woman starts over exaggerating, saying "This is worse the the Titanic!"
You run into her house and see the news channel is on, and you see right before it breaks,
A man on the screen saying, "Stay safe! Prepare! Get ready for an Earthquake!"

To keep me alive!
I need 206!
Not 205!
Give me my bone,
It’s calcium rich,
I’ve got a ball game,
I need it to pitch!
Supporting my body,
Protecting inside,
Where heart, kidneys, lungs,
And others reside!
Give me my bone back!"
I yelled at the thief,
And finally he gave it,
What a relief
He gave the bone back
And left without harm
Now all the right bones
Are in my right arm...

Bones

Do you ever think about your bones?

The way the support everything we do.

They break and they age and they grow.

Bones hold every story you've ever told.

From the time you broke your toe dancing to ice ice baby

to the time you wrote a new chapter.

Bones are everything we are

and everything we ever will be

Our bones are what's left behind

after we move on to the next life

Our bones will tell our lives stories.

The carpal tunnel from writing, painting and playing an instrument

these are all left behind

to tell the archaeologists we

were here

and we tried to show the world

we cared

about its

Neptune is furthest away from the Sun.The spectacular solar system
It’s extremely cold but still seems like fun.
It has faint, faint rings
and other cool things
like weighing more than a tonne.

Uranus is a giant ball of gas
which has a mega, mega mass.
It is number seven
and looks like heaven.
It would be a dream to go past.

Saturn is the second largest.
Its radiant rings are the best.
It is very cold
and I have been told
that it is way, way better than the rest.

Jupiter has dusk and dawn
ever since the day it was born.
It has a red dot
called the great red spot
which is a huge, huge wind storm.

Mars is a cold, cold desert.
However, it could be pleasant.
With rust in its surface
to mine for a purpose
we’d soon have a fabulous present.

Only Earth is a planet with water
which takes up just more than a quarter.
With heaps of things living
dancing and singing
some creatures are taller, some shorter.

Venus is so very hot.
In size, it’s like Earth quite a lot.
It looks bright at night
like an LED light.
Is 400 degrees hot or what!

Mercury has almost no air.
No human could breathe over there.
It is awesomely dry
like a cloudless blue sky.
I think I’ll learn more stuff to share!

Kaboom!
Ka-blast
Way in the past
the miners mined for ore.
They searched for copper, iron and salt,
for that and much, much more.

Kaboom!
The bite
of dynamite
cut deep inside the earth.
The charge explodes revealing lodes
of minerals of worth.

Kaboom!
The dust,
the air so mussed
went swirling through the sky.
It was a sight, the dynamite
that made the mountains fly.

Kaboom!
The earth
was filled with mirth
so tickled by the boom.
The miner's pleasure,
each newfound treasure
that followed each
Kaboom!

Without your bones, you couldn't stand up.
you wouldn't have much shape at all.
like a lump of clay or a jellyfish,
or a punctured rubber ball.
yes, to support you weight and hold your shape
bones are absolutely great!
long bones short bones big bones, small-you have 206 in all!

Spooky, scary skeletons
send shivers down your spine
Shrieking skulls will shock your soul
Seal your doom tonight

Spooky, scary skeletons
speak with such a screech
You'll shake and shudder in surprise
when you hear these zombies shriek

We're so sorry, skeletons
You're so misunderstood
You only want to socialize
(but I don't think we should)

'Cause Spooky, scary skeletons
shout startling, shrilly screams
They'll sneak from their sarcophagus
and just won't leave you be

Spirits, supernatural
are shy, what's all the fuss?
But bags of bones seem so unsafe
It's semi-serious!

Spooky, scary skeletons
are silly all the same
They'll smile and scrabble slowly by
and drive you so insane!

Sticks and stones will break your bones
They seldom let you snooze
Spooky, scary skeletons
will wake you with a BOO!
