Erosion is what makes a big rock turn into a small rock.

dylan.f said...

They break down in different process known as weathering the wind making rocks grind against each other making smaller pieces fall off.

erosion and rubbing

Nicole Benincasa said...

The big rocks form into little rocks by smashing into each other and braking apart and than they just keep smashing and forming littler rocks.

A big rock turns into a little rock when two big rocks hit together hard enough to break them down in to smaller rocks.

big rock's turn into small rock's

The way a small rock becomes a big rock and a big rock becomes a small rock is because of a thing called erosion. Erosion can be made by the smallest things like sand and moss. Even those tiny particles can affect these huge and small rocks they can either add up onto the rocks that are smaller and can break down the rocks that are bigger.

When two peices of rock rub together they both get smaller and smaller and thats how a big rock turns into a little rock.

The way that large pieces of rock turn in to little pieces is when a rock falls down a hill and hits the ground at a high pace and breaks off to very tiny pieces. Another way for large rocks to turn into little rocks is erosion.

Bigger rocks turn into smaller rocks from Weathering.Mechanical Weathering occurs when natural resources destroy rocks and Chemical Weathering occurs when chemical reactions mix with rocks.

Large rocks can become smaller rocks by erosion. Chemical and mechanical weathering breaks them down into smaller pieces, and the specific process of it is called abrasion. The smaller the rock, the faster it breaks down into smaller pieces.

Erosion makes big rocks turn into smaller ones by hitting it and it breaks apart.

The reason why the big rock became the little rock is by something called weathering. Weathering is almost the same exact thing erosion. Weathering makes rocks and other earth erode which means wear away. So when a rock stays in one place for a while it starts getting erode because of all the bad weather and wind and other natural occurrences.

Weathering effects the rocks and when they rub together they break down into smaller rocks.

A large rock became rock from chemical weathering and over time the chemical will eat away at the rock.

Parker McM said...

A big rock can turn into a small rock maybe because two rocks are hitting each other and pieces of the rocks are falling off and can make the big rock/rocks smaller.

Drew W said...

Erosion can make it smaller and rubbing can to.

Mechanical and chemical is part of weathering that helps break down rocks into smaller pieces

Its when two rocks hit together and brake. It forms small rocks.

they smash together, acid could get touches them and they crumble.

When rock slides, earthquakes, and other weather-related events like that happen, the bigger rocks shake around, and smash together over and over again, till finally they brake into pieces.

connor l said...

when rocks collide in to each other the brake and become small

Kylie M. said...

When you smash 2 rocks together, it forms into smaller rocks.

When you have two rocks and you smash them together, it forms smaller rocks.

Simple, weather breaks rock down, rock smashes with other rocks, rock gets turned to pebble, pebble becomes gravel.

When two rocks are hit they brake,weather/ nature can cause them to erode.

The rocks get smaller by the weathering and it brake them down and they get smaller and smaller to they are gone.

Well the way bigger rocks become smaller rocks is because of different types of weathering and also they grind up against each other and it wears away the exposed surfaces.

A large rock can become smaller by rocks smashing together or by Erosional effects. Erosional effects is when the environment causes the larger rock become smaller. The reasons why this happens is wind ,water and other rocks things like tree roots and animals may cause this as well but over time. Also humans might cause this as well.

A large piece of rock becomes a small piece of rock because of erosion caused by rain.

this one of the hardest things to try to explain well hereit goes... they break. thats all have a nice day.

Erosion can happen in many ways ,some of those things are water, air, and weather. Erosion is a process that breaks down rocks into smaller rocks. That is what erosion is.

The rocks get smaller when the rocks r smashing together, and sometimes it can get smaller when there r strong winds, and the rock smash really, really hard together.

weather erosion and smashing them together is what makes smaller rocks

when a large one and a small one you can bang them into each other and it starts creating little bits of the rocks you broke and it has to be sorta wet to do it

When a daddy rock and a mommy love each other VERY much... (Sorry! I couldn't resist)

Rock rub against each other like penguins huddling, that can make them BREAK. When when they break, it makes smaller rocks!

Also the weather can cause breakage as well, the rain can make small cracks even BIGGER. Or, the rain can make them slippery and they can fall off something and break something.

But, I like the mommy rock and daddy rock theory better.

the bigger rock in erosion makes friction the friction breaks it down in to smaller rock

A larger size rock turns into a smaller size rock by being smashed into a smaller bits and pieces now this can be caused by someone breaking them or by the rock falling into lava or river

because of wheathering

The answer is weathering because if one rock smashes in to another it willl make little rocks and maybe spark a little bit
