If I put a go pro on a rock and then watched the video,I would probably see the rock be formed into many different shapes. The rock would change a lot.

You would most likely see is get smashed together with other rocks and it could start to crack and it will brake apart by ice wedging. And get melted by magma and form into a different type of rock.

If you watch the video starting on a brand knew rock than the rock went through the rock cycle you would see that the go pro would probably move a lot of different ways.

We start with a camera on a rock. Over time the rock will start to break thanks to erosion. Over time it will break into smaller rocks.

You would see the rock get eroded and turn to ignons and setamataery.

The place you would start at is getting a rock. I would get my rock fresh out of a valcano. Then you would strap a gopro on to the rock and put it on top of a mouintain. When you got the gopro back you would watch the video. You would probley see Erosion, Wearthering.

If put a gopro on a rock you would see that over time weathering and erosion would eat away at the rock over time and the rock would get smaller over many many year.

You would see it rolling down the mountain and get eroded.

Brandon M said...

I put my go-pro on a igneous rock fresh off of a volcanic eruption. The igneous rock breaks down by weathering and erosion and turns into sediment. The sediment gets piled all up and of it by weathering and erosion and turns into sedimentary rock. Sedimentary rock forms into a metamorphic rock by massive heat and massive pressure. The go-pro is still next to the volcano and the volcano erupts again and the metamorphic rock gets turned into magma and magma cools slowly into igneous rock and my rock is where it started.

If I put a gopro camera on a rock and watch the video I would see wind move the rock which is erosion. Then I would either see the rock turn into sedimentary rock or it would disappear . If I was to watch the video I would not be a live because it takes thousands and thousands of years for a rock to be a different rock or to be weathered.

I would see my rock going through the stages of the rock cycle. I would see it getting compacted and cemented from being sediment, and it turns into a sedimentary rock. The rock is pulled underground, and heat and pressure is applied to it. The rock is formed into a metamorphic rock. To turn into an igneous rock, it has to melt from extreme heat, and it is then magma. The magma cools, so it becomes an igneous rock. From there, the rock cycle keeps going-it NEVER ends.

If you put a GoPro camera on a sedimentary rock you would see every stage of the rock cycle and those stages are: the waves moving the rock under water and making it smooth, then the waves will push the rock onto land and when that happens the rock will be exposed to the heat from the sun, when the rock is exposed to the sun for the first time it will start to break down and will turn into smaller pieces of rocks and that will be put into the sand of the beach, then those sand particles will turn into another Sedimentary rock and that will be pushed down deep into the Earth, when that happens the rock will be turned into a Metamorphic rock when that happens it will sink even deeper into the Earth until it reaches Magma, when the Metamorphic rocks falls into the Magma it turns into Igneous and will then shoot up and out of the Earths core, and then it will start this process all over again.

If you put a GoPro on a sedimentary rock, then you would probably see it break apart from a mountain, in sediment pieces, and roll around, and make it into the ocean. After the pieces are in the water, the sedimentation process will start. After the sediments formed a sedimentary rock, it might wash up on shore, and be a sedimentary rock, soon to form a metamorphic rock. After it changes into a metamorphic rock, it will get into the earths crust, and melt into magma, then get blasted out of a volcano, and become a igneous rock. (and then it just starts all over again. yay rock cycle!)

Through the process of the rock cycle the rock would melt in lava and magma, then become a igneous rock. The Igneous rock would then be weathered into sediments. The sediments will then be eroded into water where it will be formed into a sedimentary rock. The sedimentary rock would then be buried in the ground around the center of the earth. The rock will then be heated up and then it will turn into a metamorphic rocks. Then the cycle repeats forever.

If I put a GoPro on a rock I would drop in near a volcano. Then the video would show the rock going through the rock cycle. First I would see magma cooling down and then turning itself into Igneous rock. After I would see mechanical weathering, and erosion break up the rock into smaller pieces of sediment. Then I would see the sediments turn into Sedimentary rock. Then in a result from heat and pressure the sedimentary rock would then turn into metamorphic rock. The finally the rock cycle will end because the metamorphic rock turns into hot lava. After that the process restarts.

If I put a GoPro camera on a rock and watched it go through the rock cycle, I would see all the rocks forming into metamorphic rocks. If I could put a go pro on a rock I would choose a sedimentary rock. I would watch my rock be broken up into thousands of sediments and then compacted. My rock would then be forced underground where it would be exposed to extreme heat and pressure. After my rock got exposed to extreme heat and pressure my rock would be melted down into magma (Lava proof go pro). After my rock got melted it got shot out of a volcano! My rock then cooled into an extrusive rock. After that my rock got shot out of a volcano it started the rock cycle all over again. Once I found the rock and my go pro I was able to watch the rock cycle!

Okay, lets say I added a camera on a metamorphic rock (My favorite rock. c:) I would see cooled-off magma being squeezed by pressure! I'd be really cool to see through the rocks point of view. (Sadly, I said that on my first comment. But, It got deleted because I cracked a joke.) But, I still wish the go pro wouldn't melt! It would be interesting to see the rock being made. Then, we'd see the rock being fully formed! I'd like to see how the rock weathered, and how it was treated. Would it fall and break into a million pieces? Would someone bring it home for a rock collection? Would it be near a volcano, and re-melted and turned into a different kind of rock? Sadly, This isn't possible and we'll never know.... Until they make magical go pros.

That'll be pretty sick.

If i was going to put a go-pro on a sedimentary rock than it could go through water elements and eventually into a volcano and would turn into a metamorphic rock and the lava would flow and eventually melt cool down and crystalize into a beautiful site for the camara but it could go difference ways but that would be in any of the other comments maybe That crystaled rock would go back threw the rock cycle in many ways the end.

If I could put a go pro camera on a rock and let it go through the rock cycle I might see a metamorphic rock go trough magma then go through cooling and turn into a igneous rock that igneous rock might go through heat and pressure and turn back into a metamorphic rock or it might go through erosion and and turn into sediments then go into more heat and pressure and turn into a sedimentary rock that sedimentary rock could go through years more of erosion and turn back into sediments or it can go through more heat and pressure and turn into a metamorphic rock and go through the rock cycle. Ether way it will go through the rock cycle again. Any rock can change into any rock.

A sedimentary rock will change because of heat and pressure and it will change into metamorphic rock. metamorphic rock will change in to magma. Magma will cool and then change into igneous rock.Weathering and erosion will make igneous rock break down into sediments.

Anonymous said...

If I put a go-pro on a igneous rock it took a while for it to change. When it did change weathering and erosion broke it down. Breaking it down made it sediment. Because of compaction and cementation the sediment turned into sediment rock. Next heat and pressure made metamorphic rock. Then that metamorphic rock melted into magma. Finally the magma cooled and made igneous rock. It was a really long process for on rock to go around the rock cycle.

If I was to ever put a go pro camera on a rock I would start and put it on a metamorphic rock so I could see the from the start of how the rock cycle really happens. What I believe that I would see is the way and all the time that it actually takes to go through the rock cycle. The video would show the way it melted and how after it is heated the type of sediment it would look like how long it takes just to melt a rock. The video would show how the rock becomes a sediment and clings to another sediment and another and it keeps going for ages and ages to come. It might show ice wedging and how it happens slowly until it finally cracks. With this the go pro camera would show how the rock cycle. I believe to end this comment I should say that if a go pro was on a metamorphic rock and went through the rock cycle the world of science would have new meaning to the way rocks are processed.

If I put a gopro on a metamorphic rock, I would watch magma melt it. Then, it would erupt and cool and turn into an igneous rock. Then, i'd watch it go under ground and the heat and pressure would turn it into a sedimentary rock. Next, weathering and erosion would break the rock down into sediments and move them around. Next, the rock would come back together into a metamorphic rock and repeat the process over again.

If i were to put a go pro on a camera on a igneous rock. It would go in the ground because magma is in the earths crust. Magma would cool to create me. Through weathering and erosion i got broken down into sediment. When there is Heat and pressure it turns me into sedimentary rock. When heat and pressure happen it turns into metamorphic rock. If a volcano erupts it becomes magma and then the rock cycle happens again.

I put my go pro camera on an Igneous rock in Hawaii. It formed by the lava that came out of the Diamond head volcano, and cooled. It slowly went through weathering and erosion, and after getting eroded to a nearby river, it turned into a sedimentary rock by compaction and cementation. It suffered severe pressure and heat underground and turned into a metamorphic rock. It then melted into magma, which erupted from a volcano and started all over.

I would put my go pro camera on an Igneous rock. Then it would either get erupted from a volcano or it would be made in the ground. Intrusive rocks are formed in the earth and extrusive are formed on the surface of the Earth. So lets say I erupted and now I'm lava and I would cool and harden and make a rock and I can now become different rocks. Now it can become an Sedimentary rock by Wind Erosion or become an Metamorphic rock by Heat and pressure. Than it can be melted and turn into Magma and start the cycle all over again.

I put a go pro on an igneous rock. it turned to lava and then cooled but after it cooled it was exposed out in the open.it rained a lot and some rocks fell on it over a long period of time and after awhile more the rocks turned the rock into sediments and pushed it into a lake. when the sediments landed they landed together in a group. over time the pressure fused the sediments together and became a sedimentary rock.

I put a go pro on a sedimentary rock. Then, when I watched it over, I saw how it is made, and how it change's from metamorphic, and/or igneous. First, it has to be melted, then is turn's into igneous. Then, after that, it start's to be pressured with heat, so it can make metamorphic rock. Then, after it is done cooling, it will be smashed with weathering, and the go pro turn's into nano go pro camera's. The type of weathering is probably oxidation. Finally , it will be sedimentary, and go through the rock cycle all over again.

If I'd ever put a go pro on a rock well that might take awhile to explain. When I'd first put mine on one you wouldn't notice anything but nothing going on. The rock cycle is a cool process but a long boring one as well. First you would have igneous rock which you didn't know where it came from. next in the rock cycle the rock would get changed in ways with weathering and erosion took place and made that into sediments. With more of weathering and erosion those sediments get put into Either or both metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. Heat and pressure, weathering and erosion can make a lots of rocks. Somewhere in the process where theres space for improvements. When the rocks melt the make you like lava/magma when a volcano erupts it melts the rocks that can go and go with the flowing of it and the rock cycle can keep going on and on. Although more than likely you wont be able to live long enough to see the full rock cycle from the go pro in im front of you. The rock cycle takes decades years centuries to complete and is very long. Thats the end of my prediction if id ever do it.

When it hits the ground its going to cool, after it cools it will be weathered and eroded it will be either a sedimentary rock or a metamorphic rock.

When I put a go pro camera on an metamorphic rock (at an angle were you can see what happens) It is underground near a volcano, and the magma leaks out and melts it. Eventually it cools down and forms igneous rock. Over lots of years it is pressured down why more soil and rock until it becomes sedimentary rock. And eventually it just goes through the cycle again.

If I were to strap a rock to a go pro to an Igneous rock if it melted it would turn into magma and after a few years it would become a sedimentary or a metamorphic rock. If it became a sedimentary rock after some extreme heat and pressure it would become a metamorphic rock. When the metamorphic breaks down by weathering and erosion it would become sediments. After the sediments formed together by compacting and cementation it would become a sedimentary rock once more. If the sedimentary rock melted it would become magma a gain and start the whole rock cycle over again.

If I (hypothetically) put a somehow indestructible camera on a metamorphic rock, I would see the stages of the rock cycle. I might see it get melted into magma, and one day, that magma explodes out of a volcano into lava, and forms extrusive igneous rock when it cools. After a while, weathering and erosion causes that igneous rock to turn into sediment, which is deposited in a beach. Slowly, that beach fills up with more sediment, causing our sediment to sink, and eventually, when our sediment gets deep enough, it goes through extreme heat and pressure, causing it to become metamorphic again. It then turns igneous again through extrusive processes, and then, once again turns into sediment. Slowly, the sediment is compacted and cemented and turns into sedimentary rock. After a while (things take a while in the rock cycle), our rock might turn into igneous, metamorphic, or just stay sedimentary.
P.S.The rock cycle has no exact order, even though my hypothetical cycle did (kind of).

I put my go pro on a Metamorphic rock.First it comes Out of a volcano Then It cools down I put my Go Pro on it and Then after a while it breaks apart and it turns into Sedentary Rock. Then after that it goes into the Earth and then turns into The Igneous Rock Then comes back up. Then the Igneous rock goes back into a volcano and comes out as a a Metamorphic rock again and goes all over again

if i put a go pro on a igneous rock it i would put it next to a valcano and i would watch it go through weathering witch would break it down to sediments and then it will turn into a sedimentary rock and then it will turn into a metamorphic rock then while the rock is a sedimentary rock it will go through magma and turn into a igneous rock again

if i strapped a go pro on to a igneous rock i would see it go through all cycles the metamorphic rock will go in the volcano and fly out. the the sedimentary rock will go into the ocean and come out like a ninja and stay on land and become a igneous rock.

I put my go pro on a igneous rock. This is what happened Weather and erosion turned it into a sedimentary. After that it changed into a metamorphic because of heat pressure and chemical acid. Then it would melt into magma. Finally it would turn back into an igneous rock.

i would put a go pro on a rock and skydive into a volcano then I would break the laws of physics and bounce off of the lava and then the rock would go blasting out of the valcano and then it would dry and turn into igneous rock

I would put my go pro on an igneous rock because you can see how it will melt and cool down. Then the rock will turn into sedimentary rock. It will break down because of erosion.

If I strapped a go pro to a igneous rock after it cooled I would see it turn into sediments by weathering and erosion. Then I would see it transport and deposit into lithification(compaction or cementation). And then turn into the sedimentary rock. After that it would turn into metamorphic rock by heat and pressure. Then finally, metamorphic rock would turn into igneous by being melted into magma and by volcanism. Then it would start all over again.

If I put a Go pro on a igneous rock and watched it go through the rock cycle First I would see it turn to sediment. Then it gets blown around by weathering and erosion (winds, glacier, water). Then I would see it go underground. Deeper, deeper, deeper, ect. Then eventually it would change into metamorphic rock because of heat and pressure. Then BAM!!!!! It would come out as an igneous rock again then memofic becomes magma and magma becames ingus

if i put a go pro on an igneous rock it will go right though the rock cycle
