Hybrids are produced by crossing two purebred organisms with different traits and a purebred is if genes are alike for a piticular trait.

An organism that is a hybrid is produced by crossing two purebred organisms with homozygous traits. An organism that is a purebred that is produced by crossing two organisms with heterozygous traits.

In the simplest possible terms, purebreds are the offspring that result from mating between genetically similar parents while hybrids are the offspring that are the result of mating between two genetically dissimilar parents.

If your a purebred, then you rather have the same dominate or recessive genes, and if your a hybrid, then you have one dominate and one recessive gene.

Hybrids have a mixed set of genes than the original father or mother and have genes such as Tt = hybrid, while purebreds have parents that have the same genes and its genes are not changed, such as TT or tt.
