Erosional Forces





The two pictures above are the Grand Canyon and Mount Washington. What types of erosional forces are at work at each of these sites? Do they have any of the same forces of erosion or weathering? Rock Race

You may have noticed animal tracks in the sand, but have you ever seen boulder tracks? If you ever go to 
the Racetrack in Death Valley this is exactly what you will see. Rocks at the race track seem to move without any help at all. 
1. No one has ever seen a rock move at the Race track. What evidence do you have that these rocks are 
moving with out human interference?
