mass is how much matter in the object and weight is how much gravity is puling on it

Mass is how much matter that is in an object and weight is how much gravity is pulling on an object.

mass is matter weight is gravity

The more mass and weight means there will be more gravity pulling on the object.

Mass is how much matter an object has and Weight is how much gravity is pulling on an object.

Mass is how large something is and weight is how heavy or light something is, for example:
A wrench is smaller is mass but large in weight. A wiffle ball bat has larger mass than a wrench, but does not have the same amount of weight.

Mass is how large an object is and weight is based on gravity.

Weight is the measurement of the pull of gravity on an object and mass is a measurement of the amount of matter something contains.

Abbie B. said...

Mass and weight are different because mass is how much matter there is in an object, but weight is how much something weighs depending on the gravity pulling on it.

Mass is how much matter of a object and weight is the gravity pulling on a object

Meghan said...

mass never changes no matter how much gravity there is, weight depends partially on gravity

Mass is the volume of a object while the weight depends on the gravity of an object. For Example: A pillow has a larger mass than a concrete block buts is not the same weight.

mass is matter and weight is the amount of gravity being pulled.

weight is the amount of gravity pulling on a object and mass is the amount of space something takes up or matter

Your mass will always stay the same, while your weight will be different.

Mass is the matter inside of a thing and weight is how much it is pulled by the gravitational pull.

Paul Bellonzi said...

weight is the amount you weigh when gravity pulls you down and mass is the amount of matter that something has and the more it has, the more gravitational pull it has.

Allie said...

Mass and weight are different because weight is based off of the gravity pulling you towards the center of the Earth and mass is the amount of matter something has.

Carson R. said...

Mass and weight are different because mass is measured in kg and weight is measured in the amount of gravity pulling the object down.

weight is how much gravity pulling down on you, and mass is how much matter you are made of.

Emily Morrill said...

weight is based off gravity and mass is the amount of matter in something.
