They both have to do with motion and one is stopping an object and the other is changing the direction.

one is changing its motion and the other one is to stop something.

Momentum and Inertia both have to do with starting and stoping.

Momentum is how hard it is to stop the object and inertia is when an object is stopped.

the both have speed and velocity

inertia and momentum are both types of movement

inertia is how hard it is to push or lift something
momentum is how far it moves after it stops.

They both start and stop. One is changing the motion as thw other one is stopping a object

They both have to do with stopping, or changing, a type of acceleration, but inertia is how hard it is to change the direction whereas momentum is how hard it is to stop the movement of an object.

Both of them have movement involved, an inertia is how mass moves in a straight line unless moved by an external force. Momentum is the force of energy gained by a moving object.

Inertia and Momentum are both types of movement. Inertia is how hard it is to change an objects direction. Momentum is how an object is to stop.

both momentum and inertia involve movement, but inertia is when a object is resisting change in direction, and momentum is all the force an object gains while moving.

They both have properties that involve movement or speed, but momentum is how much force an object gains while it moves, and inertia is how hard it is to stop a moving object.

They both have to do with going and then slowing down Starting and stopping.

Inertia and momentum are two types of movement. Inertia measures how difficult it is to change an object's direction, whereas momentum measures how hard it is to stop.

Inertia tells you how much force it will take to cause a particular acceleration on an object, and is an intrinsic characteristic of an object related to its mass. However, momentum is a measure of the kinetic energy of an object and is a function of an object's mass and velocity.

Inertia and momentum both have to do with movement. Inertia is an object's resistance to motion while momentum is the tendancy of an object to continue moving.

Inertia is objects resistance and momentum is how the objects moves fast.

They both have to do with building up speed one just slows down and one
doesn't.

Allie said...

Inertia and momentum are different because inertia is an objects resistance and momentum is how fast an object moves.

inertia is speed and changing direction, and momentum is gaining speed and stopping.

They both types of movement, but the difference is that momentum is how hard an object becomes to stop and inertia is how hard it is to change an objects direction.
