Maybe you could use storm windows for a heavy winded storm.
I think that the greatest natural disaster for preparing, surviving and recovering would be a hurricane. For example, you need to do a lot to prepare because you need to put up stuff like storm shutters. For surviving, you obviously need to stay inside. Lastly, for recovering, people usually need to fix a lot of stuff after the disaster. (Hurricane Sandy)
I believe that tornadoesto are the most deadly to recover from, survive and prepare for, I believe this because I have researched it and this website can prove the result of a tornado. http://www.nws.noaa.gov/os/hazstats/sum12.pdf
I would say the worst disaster to recover from would be flooding. Flooding affects every state in the United States and can happen anywhere. Floods can be triggered by other natural hazard such as tsunamis and large snow melt.
I think a tornado is one of the worst disasters. Tornadoes can reach up to 300 miles per hour winds. If you have prepared, your survival pack will be full. But it's really hard to tell when a tornado will form. After the storm, some places are un fixable. Many tornadoes take lives with them as they spin and whirl.
I think they're all equally horrifying for someone who isn't prepared. Tourists especially. Imagine going on vacation and seeing a tornado. it would be absolutely terrifying for someone who has never wittnessed one nor should have.
I think that the most dangerous natural hazard is a tornado AND tsunami. A tornado can RIP apart houses and buildings, and debris flying around can kill people. Also a house can collapse on someone from a tornado. I think a Tsunami is very dangerous because it can drown you and cause a house to fall in on you.
I think tsunamis are the worst natural hazards.Tsunamis seem the most destructive and the most life threatening and it costs a lot of money to prepare for them and the only way to get away is to go up high or evacuate before the tsunami happens.
I think it would be a hurricane because hurricane destroy a lot of thing it destroys a lot of homes and it kills people that are out in it. It can ruin a lot of things
I think that it would be the volcano because the lava would burn down a house no one can stop it and it can start a lot of forest fires, So that is why I think that volcanoes are the most dangerous natural disaster known to man.
I think that a tsunami is the worst to prepare and recover from because tsunamis can wipe out a whole city, destroy buildings, and even take peoples lives.
I think tornadoes because they can be very dangerous. Tornadoes can ruin family's,houses, and a lot of things. Especially the strong winds that a tornado has because it can ruin houses and cause big disasters.
You have to do A LOT to prepare for tornadoes such as Put as much of your belongings (AND THE IMPORTANT STUFF) In your basement or the lowest part in your house, and then hide there until it is all over.
I think floods are the most dangerous natural disaster because they are very powerful and theres no escaping it, I think it is the hardest disaster to survive and prepare for. There is also a lot of dangerous stuff in the water which makes it very easy to get cut and injured severely.
I believe the greatest natural disaster is a tsunami. I believe this because a tsunami's destroy anything and everything it it's path. Therefore creating more and more things to rebuild.
I think the greatest natural hazard is Hurricanes. Hurricanes can have tornadoes and tsunamis and can also cause wildfires. You can prepare for a hurricane in some ways but you cnan't stop the destruction of your home.
I think they're all equally horrifying for someone who isn't prepared. Tourists especially. Imagine going on vacation and seeing a tornado. it would be absolutely terrifying for someone who has never wittnessed one nor should have.
A blizzard because it has very fast wind speeds that can wipe out people, houses and everything else. It is very hard to prepare for them because it would cost lots and lots of money, you would need to buy big walls, food, water and a radio to listen for the OK to come out. Its very hard to survive it because if you get blown away your gone.

I think that the greatest/ most dangerous natural hazard is a tsunami, because you can be washed out to the ocean.
I think that tsunamis are the best because you can survive and you can prepare for it, and also firefighters are awesome.
I think that a tsunami is the worst to prepare and recover from because tsunamis can wipe out a whole city, destroy buildings, and even take peoples lives.

You have to do A LOT to prepare for tornadoes such as Put as much of your belongings (AND THE IMPORTANT STUFF) In your basement or the lowest part in your house, and then hide there until it is all over.
I think Tsunamis are the most dangerous because theres no to control it and it can Wipe out an entire city.
I think floods are the most dangerous natural disaster because they are very powerful and theres no escaping it, I think it is the hardest disaster to survive and prepare for. There is also a lot of dangerous stuff in the water which makes it very easy to get cut and injured severely.
The worst natural hazards is is probally a Tornado because they will destroy everything in its path and it can destroy a whole city.
A FLASHFLOOD WE PROOVED IT ON OWR PRESENTATION
Our*
In my opinion an earthquake is the worst natural hazard because it can lead to many different natural disasters.
The worst is probably a volcano because once it erupts its really hard to escape.
A flood because every thing would be under water.
I think FlashFloods are the most dangerous because they can be up to 20 feet they can have bacteria that can hurt you.
A flash flood because they can cause sickness and it takes a while to drain out. Also anyone can be vulnerable to flash floods.
I believe the greatest natural disaster is a tsunami. I believe this because a tsunami's destroy anything and everything it it's path. Therefore creating more and more things to rebuild.
Tsunamis are the most dangerous because they are huge, destructive, and fast.
I think tsunamis are the most dangerous, they happen really quickly and there is no way you survive if you cannot get out in time.
Earthquakes because they can make building fall on you and crush you to death
I think that tornados are the most dangerous because they can go 300 mph and can pick up and throw objects.
blizzards because they they lock people inside and can last for days
if you are not prepared, you might get scared, and there may be a possibility you might die.

Tornadoes you need a shelter,a survival kit, stay in the shelter and rebuild stuff.
