The force of Buoyancy is NOT the Newton's third law pair to an object's weight. Buoyancy and weight are completely different types of forces. Newton's third law pairs MUST both be the same type of force AND they must be forces where one acts from body A onto body B, and the other acts from body B onto body A.

Buoyant force acts on an object when it is placed in a fluid.
When its placed in water.
The buoyant force acts on a object when pressure is exerted by a fluid on an object in the fluid.
When does the buoyant force act on an object?
when it is on the bottom of the ocean or container.
when fluid is acting on the object. like if it rains.

nice work Noah
Josh, where did you get this info?
The buoyant force that acts on an object is when pressure is exerted by a fluid on any object in the fluid(aka floating)
