How have cells from a fungus or bacteria affected humans in the past?

Ways that fungus or bacteria have affected people in the past is, they get on people and make them sick. Back then you didn't have the antibiotics we have now so people would get so sick they could die.

Harmful fungi in both agriculture and medicine. Most fungi are saprophytic and not pathogenic to plants, animals and humans.

in the 17 hundred, cells in bacteria could've created deadly diseases, and since it was so early in the antibiotic system, there was a small number of cures or ways to prevent these diseases.

Cells from fungus or bacteria had a major effect on the human population in the 14th century. The bacteria or fungus created deadly diseases that wiped out approximately 1/2 of Europe's population.
