Yes because they both make the earth move.

Volcanoes and earthquakes both result from the movement of tectonic plates.

they are both the same because of the earth splitting apart.

they both shake

Volcanoes and earthquakes are caused by the shifting of tectonic plates.

Volcanoes and earthquakes are bad.

That when tectonic plates push together they create earthquakes and volcanoes.

I have absolutely have no idea.

They both have "shaking" in common.

They both move and shake.

They are the same because earthquakes are caused from the fault lines shifting and moving, and volcanoes can sprout from the cracks in the fault lines.

They both move and shake to cause movement on the suface.

The tectonic plates move left, right, on top of each other, or below each other. I think that they both have to be moved one on top of the other to make a volcano, and an Earthquake, but a volcano vent has to be near to the plates' fault.

They both can damage places.

Volcanos and Earthquakes are both when plates move.

Bolth volcanos and earthquakes are created when plates shift.

They both make the Earth shake and they both can make the Earth's surface have movement.

the plates both hit into each other but for volcanoes one plate goes on top of each other and a volcano forms but for earthquakes they hit into each other and it shakes the earth

Both Volcanoes and earthquakes are formed when the plates underground shift.

Earthquakes and volcanos both destroy the earths surface

When the plates hit they cause earthquakes and volcanos from the force they hit together.

When plates move apart it can cause an earthquake and it can cause a volcano.

According to theory of plate tectonics, Earth is an active planet — its surface is composed of many individual plates that move and interact, constantly changing and reshaping Earth's outer layer. Volcanoes and earthquakes both result from the movement of tectonic plates. In this interactive activity produced for Teachers' Domain with images from NASA, see the relationship between earthquakes and volcanoes and the boundaries of tectonic plates

The tectonic plate movement that is the same for both volcanoes and earthquakes is convergent plates(collision).

The plates are moving to erupt volcanoes and also cause earthquakes.
