We have been learning about plate tectonics.
What have you found most interesting about the topic?

That the earth's plates are always moving.

Rylan N said...

Volcanoes and subduction and how the plates move.

Evan L said...

I think the most interesting thing we learned about was the plates always moving.

Leslie K said...

I learned how they worked what they are made and what impacts they have on the Earth.

Brendan S said...

I think that the most interesting thing would have to be, volcanoes and earthquakes.

Katie N. said...

Something that I found interesting about plate tectonic's is how tectonic plates were discovered.

Griffin M said...

i like how plate tectonics can create volcanoes

Lauren B. said...

I found that earth used to be one. Then moved apart. This was called Pangea.

Mya N said...

I learned that the plates are ALWAYS moving.

owen b:alll of it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found that the most interesting part of this unit was about what the plates were made of and how natural disasters were made via plates.

I found it interesting that plates are always moving.

Casey K said...

About how the plates move and what they do when they move.

Leslie K said...

By "they" I mean the plates.

The most interesting thing that I learned on this topic was that continents move, or "Continental Drift"

*The more ya know*

Tyler J said...

i thought how they found out Pangea existed with all the animals and stuff

Ella T. said...

The thing that I found the most interesting was Pangaea, all those dinosaurs, and... uh.... yeah.

Sadie F. said...

I learned that the plates are always moving.

Julia M said...

Something that I found interesting about plate tectonics was Pangaea and Continental Drift.

Jacob G said...

I learned that the epicenter of a earthquake is an edge of a tectonic plate.

Amelia A said...

What I found interesting about the plates is they are always moving. And also about Pangaea.

Alfred wegener's theory was amazing and exiting.

Noah R said...

The most interesting thing that I learned about was probably Pangea. I think it was cool how before the continents drifted apart there was one huge supercontinent that had dinosaurs and stuff there.

Clayton U said...

i learned about plate tectonics earthquakes and pangea

Amber R said...

I think the most interesting thing is the asthenosphere, and how it's moving the plates.

Anonymous said...

celia d i learned that the plates can shift all different ways

Anonymous said...

I liked learning about Pangea and what is believed behind the continents.

Sadie F. said...

I learned about Pangea and Continental Drift.

Anonymous said...

What I found was interesting, was that the earths continents are always changing.

TylerW said...

I thought how the continent is always moving and how the ring of fire could erupt any second and how mt. st. Helen erupts a lot.

Anonymous said...

i have thought that earthquakes were cool to learn about

Caitlin B said...

I learn'd how Plates move, And i also learn'd about pangaea and dinosaurs. And about alfred wegeners theory

Lauren S said...

I learned about the Wegner theroy.

I learned about When magma cools there is still magma inside thats hot.

Ashley M said...

i found how the plates move and the Pangaea.

Earthquakes can happen at anytime.

I have found it most interesting that the speed plate tectonics travel at are very slow.

Cassie M said...

What I found interesting was that I learned about Alfred, And Harry, and Abraham.

Alfred Wegner's last is pronounced vogner but spelt wegner.

Jennifer C said...

I have found that I think that it is interesting that when plates come together, they make mountains, and when they come apart, it makes seafloor spreading.

Jacob T said...

Plates always move.

Alysse S said...

What i found interesting was the continental drift, who came up with it and everything like that

Ashleigh L said...

I learned we all live on tectonic plates

i learned that there are a crust and mantle the crust protects the mantle.

Kanani L. said...

I have learned that plate tectonics do a big role in our earth. They cause earthquakes that can do a great amount of damage.

Something that I found interesting about plate tectonics was that how large they could be. Another thing I found was interesting was that the move 3 inches per year about as fast as your fingernails grow. I thought this was interesting because you could look at your fingernails and go "WOAH my the plate tectonics have moved this much already!!!". One other thing that I also found out was that they are actually floating on the mantle and move on a plastic like layer of the Earth called the Lithosphere.

that what?

Marie R said...

I think that the map that we did in class is pretty cool!

Elsa L said...

I found the tectonics to be large is very interesting and how you can see a rough idea of where the tectonic plates are.
