German Shepherds have an associative, or long term memory that allows them to easily recall significant parts of their life, especially extremely positive or extremely negative events. Since a German Shepherd's owner is a significant part of its life, it is unlikely that the dog will ever forget them.
Dogs have incredibly limited short term memory compared to humans – just a measly 70 seconds before they'll forget you gave them that treat! That's also why your pooch reliably loses their little doggie minds with joy when you come back after taking the trash out.
chihuahuas Your dog may recall commands, remember people after long stretches of time, or behave in ways that make long-term memory seem obvious. A scientific study out of Hungary says dogs indeed have declarative memory, the type of long-term memory responsible for remembering facts and information.dogs can learn, retain and later repeat actions humans teach them. The study, published in "Animal Cognition," trained dogs to watch activities performed by their human demonstrators. They were trained to wait briefly before showing the action previously demonstrated to them. Then, they were tested for memory of that action. They remembered the action after 10 minutes,
The animal I picked is a pig. Pigs have excellent memories, they remember where their food is and other places were food is stored has been before. They can remember there way home from far away. They can remember people and up to 30 pigs.
elephants have amazing memories especially older, female elephants often. They build up a strong memory over time that allows them to remember friends and enemies.
The animal I chose was a Chickadee I read that a Chickadee needs to have a good memory for when they migrate in the winter because they have to remember where they need to fly and what tp look for. Therefor they do have a pretty good memory.
Lions are capable of remembering things. Lions that have been rescued and released back to their habitat are known to recognize their rescuers if they see then again.
I read about maned wolves and read that they can be taught things by repeated exposure, but if something happens once, they won't remember it at all.

I chose a Sea Turtle and a sea turtle has a short-term memory. They are a reptile that lives in the sea. There are 7 different species of a sea turtle. They live in the ocean and are best friends with Nemo and dory because they meet in the fast water tube thing. That's a sea turtle.
