Expressing Genes

How can the environment determine how a genotype expresses a phenotype? Please give an example. Here is a couple videos.

the pineal gland is in the back of the head that secrets melatonin and melanin. Melatonin and melatonin switch back and forth in the winter and the summer to make the color change.

Dependent on the weather like when its cold there colors become lighter and if it gets hotter the color gets darker.

The environment can change the bunny in different ways. If it's cold outside, the bunnies fur will change to a darker color. If it's hot outside, the bunnies fur will change to a lighter color.

Yes the environment can change an organism's genotype expresses a phenotype. An example of this is when rabbits travel and the seasons change the rabbit's fur color and thickness.
