Skeletal System

The Skeletal system has five major functions. Name one of those functions and write how it works to help support another system in the body.

#2 Bones protect your internal organs. for example ribs surround the heart and lungs and the skull encloses the brain. It supports the circulatory system by holding the heart in place so it doesn't move around a lot and dislodge.

The skeletal systems five major functions are, it supports the body, facilitates movement, protects internal organs, produces blood cells, stores and releases minerals and fat. The skeletal helps support the body and that allows us to stand up straight and sit up right. It also helps us move.
