Cell Respiration

What is cellular respiration? How is it related to photosynthesis?

  1. Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are similar because both reactions contain water, carbon dioxide, glucose, oxygen and energy

  2. cellular respiration is when you break glucose to get energy and photosynthesis is when you make glucose

  3. cellular respiration is when glucose gets broken down.

  4. Cellular respiration is the process of breaking sugar into a form that the cell can use as energy, it's related to photosynthesis because it makes the glucose used in cellular respiration.

  5. Photosynthesis makes the glucose that is used in cellular respiration to make ATP 😋

  6. Maybe because they both do the same thing and have the same stuff.

  8. There similar because they both have/need contain water, carbon dioxide, glucose, oxygen and energy.

  12. Photosynthesis makes the glucose that is used in cellular respiration to make ATP. The glucose is then turned back into carbon dioxide, which is used in photosynthesis. While water is broken down to form oxygen during photosynthesis, in cellular respiration oxygen is combined with hydrogen to form water.

  19. breaking down sugar in the presence of oxygen. and it relates to photosynthesis because it is breaking down the sugar that the plant makes during photosynthesis.

  26. It is breaking sugar and turning it into energy for cells. Photosynthesis makes glucose while cellular respiration breaks it.

  29. In photosynthesis you create glucose using sunlight, water, and carbon-dioxide. Cellular respiration is when you break down glucose using sunlight and oxygen.

Cellular respiration is the opposite process of photosynthesis. It breaks down the glucose that was made from Photosynthesis.

  43. Cellular respiration and photosynthesis are related because to photosynthesize you need to take in the sunlight to turn it into glucose which is broken down by the mitochondria and released as energy. Cellular respiration is when biochemical energy is turned into adenosine phosphate which is then released as cellular waste.
