I went on the Orono trip to UMaine and we took a lecture about physics there. We learned a lot about physics and I am hoping to learn even more in your class. At the University we did experiments using liquid nitrogen like putting things in and shattering them on the ground or popping a balloon. I actually have a piece of a racquetball that was shattered by liquid nitrogen. I don't expect you to have liquid nitrogen, but I do hope this part of the term will be just as exciting.

How long does physics take to learn?
Do we get to fly paper airplanes? Is it confusing? Is it hard?
