There are two sides to the issue genetic engineering. What would be evidence to support each side. Please give one positive aspect of genetic engineering and one negative aspect of genetic engineering.
Some evidence that supports the "pro GMO" side is that using GMOs can keep species from becoming extinct. Some evidence that supports the "no GMO" side is that GMOs are bad for farmers and they aren't healthy.
One negitive thing would be if something cross polinated and the weeds got jacked and got gainzz and killed all the good plants. A good thing would be made food more peful and nutritious.
So theres this guy on the pro gmo side is like "it could make food higher in protein! or it could grow in poor soil or climate" so this guy on hate for gmos looks at him and is like. "you lie because we don't know if theres a long term effect to animals or the plants or US!!,and the genes could spread to the weeds and make them harder to kill!!!" the two guys had a big fight on this for a long time tell they died or word loss.
The Pro side of GMO's is that it can keep different species alive longer. And the No GMO's side is that the food and crops for people (farmers) Would not be healthy to eat.
One good thing that could come from genetically modifying organisms is that crops could produce more of the product that they produce. One bad thing that could come from genetically modifying organisms is that crops could start producing dead parts of the plants because you never know if the plant can be harmed by the new genetic information that was inserted into it.
