Distance and Displacement

Two people leave from the same starting point and end at the same end point. One traveled twice as far as the other. Explain how this is possible using the terms of distance and displacement.

  10. This is possible because you can have a different distance than your displacement. Your displacement is how far away you are from where you started. Distance is how far over all you have gone.
