Yes it is possible, but you need a working HERC2 and a OCA2 to have brown eyes.

It is possible. Here is how it works:
The key is that if someone makes a lot of pigment in the front part of their eye, they have brown eyes. And if they make none there, they have blue.

yes because the offspring's grandparents could have had blue eyes.

It can be possible for parents with both brown eyes to have a blue eyed offspring because blue eyes could have been in the family before the offspring was born.

Yes it is possible because even though the brown eyes are dominant, the recessive alleles can be any other color such as green, blue, or hazel. According to an article from http://genetics.thetech.org/ask-a-geneticist/brown-eyed-parents-blue-eyed-kids, if both parents have the same color eyes then at least one of you can have blue as the recessive color that is hiding behind the brown.

i'm not sure

Anonymous said...

yes it is possible because there could be a dominate gene that is blue.

Anonymous said...

I know it is possible but I don't know how it happens exactly.

Brandon Maloney said...

Yes it can because if their is two dominant brown eyes parents because of heterozygous can make their eyes blue because their two different alleles for a trait

Yes because think about your other family members like your grandparents which gave birth to your parents. Your grandparents have can have different eyes like one of them can have blue eyes and the other brown. Which can work because there can be mutations to. Also for animals no matter what they are born with blue eyes. Also think about heredity from your family members again.

I think that two brown eyed parents can have a blue eyed child because, if the parents of the parents had blue eyes it would be possible.

Jasmine C. said...

It is possible because, it could be in the family generations.

Nicole said...

Yes it is possible because someone else in the family could have blue eyes that are dominant.

yes it is possible... someone before the offspring could of had blue eyes witched caused the blue byes to go to the offspring

It is Possible for Two Brown Eyed Parents to have a Blue Eyed Offspring even if the Brown Eyes are Dominant Genes. The Grandparents can pass down Blue Eyes.

Gabe L said...

its possible but very very very unlikely

Danielle said...

It is possible because the higher generations in the family could have dominant genes.

Breanna Currier said...

Yes It Is Possible But It Is Very Rare For It To Happen.

Anonymous said...

Yes because the parents could be hiding those genes but they still have them in them

lily g said...

It is possible for two browed eyed parents to have blue eyed kids because it could be passed down from the past family members.

Anonymous said...

I think this is very possible, because the parents family could have passed down the gene and into the offspring that was yet to be born. So yes It's possible.

Phia said...

yes it is even if brown eyes are dominant.

Kyle G said...

Yes it is because your parents may have brown eyes but older parents like grandparents could pass them down and the grandkid could end up with blue eyes

It is possible for two brown eyed parents to have blue eyes even if the brown eyes are dominant genes.

emily said...

Its possible but very unlikely.

Anonymous said...

Well, multiple things can happen, the grandparents can pass them down, but if the working HERC2 and OCA2 don't work, they end up with brown eyes.

Daniel.B said...

They could still be blue becaus eif there is some one elts in your family with blue eyes you could have that genes.

morrison 😎 said...

yes but it could be vary rare cause 2 brown eyed person can have a blue eye if there parents had blue but they had brown

Ally said...

yes it is possible because someone else in the family can have blue eyes that are dominant.....

A offspring with both parents that have brown eyes the grandparents could have blue eyes

abigail N said...

Yes it is possible for two brown eyed parents to have blue eyed offspring the there is only 25% chance. If one of the parents had blue eyed parents they still carry the blue eyed gene though it's recieve and not dominant. Two brown eyed parents can have children that have different color eyes as long as they carry the allelles they can have hazel, green or blue eyes as long as the parents has that allell.

Tyler said...

yes morrisons parents both have brown eyes and he has blue

I think this is very possible, because the parents family could have passed down the gene and into the offspring that was yet to be born. So yes It's possible.

Anonymous said...

Yes, Because my Father and my Mother have Brown eyes and my sister has green/blue eyes.

Anonymous said...

Yeah because theres always a slight chance you will have blue or brown eyes.

Anthony Mason said...

Yes because they could both have a blue eye color genes

Tristin R said...

Yes because other people in the family can have blue eyes.

Anonymous said...

they could because if the parents parents had blue eyed parents then the baby might have blue eyes

kolby osgood said...

yes but it is not likely to happen as much

shawn Rebel said...

it is possible

devin said...

It is posible. The reason is that some =one else could had something else that the parents didn't

Anonymous said...

Yes it is possible because someone else in the family
can have blue eyes that are dominant.

Katelyn Piche said...

It is possible because other relatives could have blue eyes.

Anonymous said...

I think its possible because pretty much every gene can be passed down to there child.

Jasmine L. said...

It is possible because, someone else in the family could have blue eyes.

Raven Da Wolfie said...

Yes it is possible think of someone in your family of people that has BLUE EYES and then you look at the parents and their child has blue eyes when they have brown of coarse it would come from the side of one family

Tayte said...

yes it is possible, the genes will mix and it will come out as a blue eyed child, (every child is born with either blue or brown eyes)

Anonymous said...

Yes! It is possible! My mother has grey/green eyes, and my dad has brown eyes! I have blue! Blue eyes are actually a mutation in your eyes! Honestly, my blue eyes are a curse.. Since blue eyes are commonly sensitive to light, and my parents are the kinda people who like to keep all the lights on, even at day time. ._.

Yes it is because blue eyes could be a recessive allele and brown eyes is dominant in both parents.

boy cat + girl cat = KITTENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Riley H. said...

It is possible if they have pigment on there eye

Ryan R said...

so the parents both have brow eyes where would the blue genes come from? if one parents had blue eyes there would be a chance but what where would it come from now where the genes are mixes so its random but if they both have the same no possibility of another

Colby said...

Yes i think ist possible because theres always the punnett square can tell you. but in another case yes or no because its unlikey for 2 brown eyeed parents can be inheridid. But it could be passed down from genertaion.

Anonymous said...

It is entirely possible, but I missed about half of the week so I do not know how.

Anonymous said...

yes because anything is possable.

Bailey said...

yes because there could be a dominate blue eye gene.

Anonymous said...

It is possible if they have pigment on there eye

Anonymous said...

There is a chance for that to happen but it maybe very low chance. This is because since there both brown eyes it's more possible.

Anonymous said...

Yes it is Possible for Two Brown Eyed Parents to have a Blue Eyed offspring even if the Brown Eyes are Dominant Genes. Past family members can pass down Blue Eyes and even other traits.

Anonymous said...

Yes it is possible because the offsprings grandparents could have had blue eyes. The gene could've been passed down that way.

Madison D said...

Yes its possible because blue eyes could have been in the family before the offspring

Anonymous said...

yes but it is a recessive trait

Anonymous said...

Yes because blue eyes could have been common in the off springs grandparents and other relatives.

Anonymous said...

yes i think that is is possible because my brothers eye color has changed from brown to blue even though both of my parents have brown eyes.

alanah.t :P said...

It is possible, but very unlikely. Perhaps the parents had recessive blue genes, which could come up on their child. If the kid had an ancestor with blue eyes, then it is possible.

Moorage Scott said...

I know it is possible but I don't know how it happens exactly.

Yes it is possible, if one parent has brown eyes, and the other has green, there is a slight chance that the baby will have blue eyes

Yes because the offspring could have other family members that have blue eyes.
