  1. Both Chloroplast and Mitochondria give out energy for the cell.

  2. Chloroplasts convert sun light into food for the plant using a process called photosynthesis. Chloroplasts relate to mitochondria because they both have something to do with the energy within the cell.

  3. Chloroplasts make sugars by converting carbon dioxide (CO2), water (H2O) and solar energy into carbon sources (principally, Glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate), whereas mitochondria convert carbon sources into cellular energy (ATP), with CO2 and H2O as a byproduct.

  4. Both of them have to do with giving energy to the cell.

Chloroplast uses sunlight to give energy to the plant, and the mitochondria gives energy also.

  5. Chloroplasts are organelles found in plant cells and eukaryotic algae that conduct photosynthesis. Chloroplasts absorb sunlight and use it in conjunction with water and carbon dioxide gas to produce food for the plant.

  19. The chloroplast breaks down food, and the mitochondria expels waste from the food. They are both part of the digestive system of a cell.
