The April 2015 Nepal earthquake (Nepali: विसं २०७२ को महाभूकम्प) (also known as the Gorkha earthquake)[6][9] killed over 9,000 people and injured more than 23,000. It occurred at 11:56 Nepal Standard Time on 25 April, with a magnitude of 7.8Mw[1] or 8.1Ms[2] and a maximum Mercalli Intensity of IX (Violent). Its epicenter was east of the district of Lamjung, and its hypocenter was at a depth of approximately 8.2 km (5.1 mi).[1] It was the worst natural disaster to strike Nepal since the 1934 Nepal–Bihar earthquake.
Nepal straddles the fault line between two of these plates; the Indian and the Eurasian plates. These are being forced up against and under each other, at a rate of about 5cm each year.
I think that Naples, Italy is prone to natural disasters because there is a volcano about 9 kilometers from the town called Mount Vesuvius. I think Mexico because, it has had hurricane's and floods. I think this is more likely to experience a natural disaster because, it is big, and is more likely to have more diasters.
