  7. The three basic types of rocks are Igneous,Metamorphic, and Sedimentary.Volcanic eruption creates Igneous rock,Igneous rock creates sediment which creates Sedimentary rock.Sedimentary rock creates Metamorphic rock which turns into magma and starts the whole process again

There are three types of rock, metamorphic, sedimentary, Igneous. I believe how rocks are formed are by; Melting, Cooling, Gravity, and weathering. Sadly, I'm not the smartest one here. (Everyone: No duuurrrr! Haha!) But I was taught by a FABULOUS science teather.

  60. The three basic types of rocks are sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic. Each are created in a different way. Igneous to start is created when rocks melt down. Magma is the reason the rocks melt. When the rocks cool they become igneous. The second type of rock is sedimentary. If I am correct sedimentary is created after weathering and erosion. All the sand and gravel from weathering and erosion come together to form igneous rocks. The last type of rock is metamorphic. From my sources (http://kennedyclanscience.blogspot.com/) Metamorphic comes from sedimentary rocks. Metamorphic rocks are made by pressure.

  75. Sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic. One way of changing is melting and cooling.

    ReplyDelete
  76. The three basic types of rock are igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic. These three types of rock are made by three processes. The first, to make metamorphic rock is heat & pressure. When sedimentary rocks are put through extreme heat and pressure, they turn into metamorphic rocks. Sedimentary rocks are made by the weathering and erosion of the other two types of rocks. Finally, igneous rocks are made from volcanic eruption. All of these processes are a part of the rock cycle.
