one type of weathering is chemical weathering when the erosion of a rock. Another type of weathering is mechanical weathering when exposes the rock without changeing the chemical composition of the rock.

One type of weathering is chemical weathering. It is the erosion of rocks, materials, etc. The other one is mechanical weathering. It breaks down rocks without changing its chemical composition.

Chemical weathering is stuff like erosion on rocks and minerals, mechanical weathering is when rocks break down with out changing the composition

Chemical, mechanical. Chemical weathering it is the Erosion of the Rocks, materials, etc then mechanical weathering it breaks down rocks without changing its chemical composition

there is mechanical and chemical weathering mechanical is when a rock is broken down without losing its chemical composition

Olivia M said...

Two types of weathering are chemical and mechanical. Chemical is when the rock is broken down into pieces. Mechanical weathering is when the rock is physically broken down but there are no chemical changes.

camden taylor said...

There is Mechanical and Chemical weathering . chemical weathering changes or brakes them down . Mechanical weathering breaks rock down with physical force

Lamaara F. said...

The two types of weathering are chemical and mechanical. An example of mechanical weathering is ice breaking. That's when water gets inside of a rock, freezes, and splits it open. An example of chemical weathering is oxidation.

Two Types of weathering are Chemical weathering and Mechanical weathering. Chemical weathering is when A chemical like acid rain comes in contact with an object. (Or a rock in this case.)

chemical weathering and mechanical weathering: chemical weathering is when carbon acid and limestone come in contact it forms (those cave rocks I cant think of the name) mechanical weathering is when tree roots or animals dig in the dirt/rocks or grow in the dirt/rocks.

The two types of weathering are mechanical and chemical weathering. An example of mechanical weathering is when a rock is changed by a force made from mechanics. One chemical weathering example is when a chemical comes in contact with a rock.

Two types of weathering are Mechanical and Chemical. Mechanical is rocks gets there chemicals messed with, Chemical is when trees get the chemicals messed with(sorry if this is a poor answer).

The two types of weathering are chemical and mechanical. Mechanical weathering is one of the processes that cause physical disintegration.

The 2 types of weathering is mechanical and chemical! One example is from mechanical is ice wedging when ice freezes and pushes the rock away from each other cause in to break in half just like tarred roads and how they crack. And in chemical weathering some decpomposing stuff will send off to the rock and and peels of layer by layer!

Kevin D. said...

One type of weathering is chemical and the other type is mechanical.
Chemical weathering is when when it starts breaking down.
Mechanical weathering is when rocks are broken down without change in the chemical nature of the rock.

alicia f said...

The two types of weathering are mechanical and chemical an example of mechanical weathering is wen rocks are broken apart by a physical proses and a example of chemical is wen a chemical comes in something like a rocks.

emily b said...

mechanical and chemical
mechanical: when plaint grow in the cracks of rocks the roots can break the rocks
chemical : when carbon acid hits limestone it breacks it down into a cave

There is mechanical weathering when something like water of ice gets in rocks and breaks them apart, and there is chemical weathering when something that affects the chemicals in minerals in the rock thats makes to rock break apart.

Richie P. said...

Chemical and physical. chemical reactions cause chemical weathering and brutal forces cause physical weathering

Lewin P said...

The two types of weathering are chemical and mechanical. An example of chemical weathering is plant acids wear down minerals to change them to different minerals. An example of mechanical weathering is ice wedging breaking rocks into different rocks.

Chemical Weathering~ Is controlled by the climate and can affect types of rock.

Mechanical Weathering~ Can affect materials such as metal that can rust when wet.

Sameena F. said...

The two types of weathering is mechanical and chemical. An example of mechanical is ice expanding in a crack of a rock and physically breaks the rock, and an example for chemical weathering is carbon acid hitting limestone and breaking it down.

Two types of weathering is mechanical and chemical weathering. Chemical: A naturally occurring acid dissolves minerals and makes them into different minerals. Mechanical: When water falls into a crack in a rock and freezes overnight, it forces the rock apart.

Richie P. said...

phisical is also mechanical*

Aidan farris said...

chemical weathering happens when chemical reactions dissolve minerals or change them

The two types of weathering are chemical and mechanical. Mechanical is when something physically happens, like a plant growing through the rock. Chemical is when the rock dissolves from chemicals.

Nadia McElroy said...

I'm going to say that two types of weathering are Mechanical Weathering and Chemical weathering. One example of mechanical weathering is when animals are digging in the ground and make a hole, and a Chemical weathering is when natural acid dissolves into a rock and makes holes.
