The Temperature and the weather can effect the weathering.

Jared S said...

The meting of ice can effect rocks.

Shaun B said...

Yes, because cold climate can make ice wedging in between rocks.

camden taylor said...

ice wedging is the answer Maine is such a cold place in the winter ice wedging happens alot

Kristina W. said...

Yes you can find weathering in maine like snow

Matthew B said...

The temperature can effect weathering and we have ice wedging.

Lamaara F. said...

In Maine, we would find Ice Wedging. In the winter, it's so cold that all of the roads have pot holes.
That is from Ice Wedging.

dillon said...

Yes,we have cold winter/ice wedging.

Our winter can cause ice wedging in Maine.

dominic l said...

yes the climate in maine would be ice wedging

Nick C said...

Yeah because cold climate can make ice wedging in between rocks

Braedon M said...

Yes climate can affect the rocks ice wedging would happen here.

Robert said...

Yes.There is ice wedging in Maine

Brandon P said...

The temperature effects us if it is hot or to cold.

yvette C said...

I think that climate does affect weathering because it's so cold here so the type of weathering would be ice wedging.

Olivia M said...

Climate effects does effect weathering. The type of weathering that we would find in Maine is ice wedging because we have a very cold winter.

Maddi T. said...

Climate does affect weathering and the type of weathering that we find in Maine in the winter time is ice wedging.

weather we would find in main ia hail

Jesse B said...

yes climate can effect weathering because if it is cold ice wedging could happen

Olivia M said...

Climate does effect weathering******

owen said...

yes the cold climate would effect what kind of weathering we would have. We would find ice wedging.

Kanyon H. said...

It would ice wedgeing.

yes, ice wedging

Paige M. said...

In Maine we have ice wedging, so yes.

Hannah Perkins said...

Yes Climate affects weathering because When its really Cold The Ice Wedging Gets in the cracks.

haley marsico said...

yes, climate does effect weathering, in Maine we get rust

Jakob P said...

ice wedging

Cordelia R said...

Yes, climate effects weathering. In Maine, the weathering we would find is 'ice wedging' due to the cold climate.

Emily B said...

climate does effect weathering because where its cold mechanical tends to happen but when its hot chemical tends to happen. in Maine it depends what season it is because Maine cane get hot and it can get cold but i think mechanical happens more in Maine.

Brooke D said...

Yes the cold climate effects the weathering. In Maine we would find Ice Wedging.

Brooke C. said...

Yes. Climate affects weathering because when it gets cold Ice Wedging can occur.

alicia f. said...

Yes climate can effect weathering especially in mane because we have ice wedging.

Liz L. said...

Yes it dose and when ice gets into the craks

Tim D said...

The cold climate in Maine creates ice wedging

Kiara M said...

Yes climate effects weathering. Since we have a cold climate in Maine, we would find ice wedging.

SCIENCE IS REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Climate does effect weathering

Yes climate does effect weathering when it is cold ice wedging occurs

Brooke C. said...

We can find Ice Wedging in Maine.

Yeas ice wedging

Wayne Twombly said...

Yes Climate can cause the breaking of down rocks! In Maine we would have Ice Wedging with the rainy days and the clod nights!

Wayne Twombly said...

Along with Rust!

Josh Y said...

Yes, ice wedging.

Kevin D. said...

Yes because when it gets cold ice gets in the rocks it can crack it.

alonzoh said...

yes because when it gets cold ice gets in the rocks it can crack it

Ian R. said...

The weathering that we would find in Maine would be ice wedging because it is colder here during the night and winter than other states.

Jake Esty said...

Yes because certain types of weathering happen in different climates. And in Maine we might have ice wedging in the winter and in summer trees roots might grow into rocks.

Ian R. said...

And yes climate does affect weathering.

Ryan .S said...

ice wedging because its cold in the winter

Anthony B said...

Climate does affect weathering. The type of weathering we would find in Maine would ice wedging.

Hannah M said...

Yes, if it is a really cold climate then water will freezes in the rock and cracks it, there might be ice wedging in Maine but there could also be burrowing animals or plant roots.

Lewin P said...

Yes, in Maine we would find ice wedging because it gets cold.

weathering happens in different climates

Richie p. said...

Yes. Mainly (ha, see what I did there?) ice and snow.

Nadia McElroy said...

Yes climate does does effect weathering because in cold climate or winter ice wedging in caused and in spring when all the ice is melted then it leaves pot holes.

Anonymous said...

The Climate can affect what weathering has control of because of the affect of ice wedging

Aidan farris said...

Yes climate does effect weathering because if its cold we'll get ice wedging

Abby D. said...

Climate does affect weathering. The type of weathering we have in Maine would be ice wedging in the cold climate, and also burrowing animal, and plant roots, in warm climate.

dylan n said...

when its cold ice weging happens

Anonymous said...

yes climate does effect weathering so in maine we would have ice wedging

Megan.A said...

Yes, The climate can breakdown rock's. If it rain's then it turns into a cold day you'll find a Ice Wedging.

SCIECE IS REAL

Ashley M said...

Yes if its cold we get ice wedging and ice wedging leaves pot holes

Nate P said...

The climate would affect weathering. For example if it was cold we would get ice wedging/ mechanical weathering, and if it was warm it would create chemical weathering. The type of weathering that would be found in Maine would be mechanical weathering/ice-wedging.

Kayla H said...

The climate would affect weathering. For example if we are in winter we would get ice wedging.

tanya .m said...

Climate does effect weathering. The cold= mech.warm=chem. We would find cold or mech. in Maine.

NICOLE WAS HERE!!!!! :) said...

Climate does effect weathering. Like use wedging happens when its cold out.

Emily P said...

yes climate does effect weathering. in maine we would have ice wedging in winter.
and animal burrowing in summer

cole s said...

yes it does. maine would have easy because the colder it is the easier to brake

kobe d said...

climate dose effect weathering in Maine ice wedges leves cracks in the grownd

Zeke Sturgeon said...

Climate dose we would get mechanical.

Aaron_Peter_Mills said...

yes. in the winter there is ice wedging, and mechanical weathering. we would have ice wedging and mechanical weathering in Maine. but you can probably break a rock with a jackhammer and call it weathering.

Gianna M said...

The climate does effect the weathering! ice wedging could happen in Maine because of the low temperatures that we get in the winter.

Anthony M said...

Climate Does Effect Weathering, Ice Wedging is In Maine, That is What Makes Potholes, and Cracks Rocks.

Logan H. said...

The climate probably would affect weathering. Since Maine is a cold-ish state, the climate might freeze water that is in rocks, which would count as mechanical weathering. It also rains a lot in Maine.

Theresa T said...

cold weathering can cause mechanical weathering and warm weathering would be chemical weathering and the type of weathering that would be found in maine would be mechanical weathering.

david r said...

climate matters because it could be hot and like water would drippe through and effect the erath and if it was cold that would not happen

Will H said...

climate does effect weathering for example in the winter we would get ice wedging in Maine

Aaron_Peter_Mills said...

but on a lake or stream with rocks in it you would get chemical weathering because the water would slowly crack and break the rocks.

ETHAN.S said...

The climate does effect because the cold weathering makes thing turn into ice

hayden w said...

it affects the cold and the weathering witch makes things turn to ice

Anonymous said...

The climate affects weathering. In Maine, roots are what mechanically weather things.

Sameena F. said...

Yes climate does have an effect. Ice wedging would be an example of what we could find in Maine.

isaiah w said...

Yes climate has a effect we would find ice wedging in Maine.

Cassie :D said...

Yes, climate does have an effect on weathering. Ice wedging would be a great example to what climate has an effect on weathering, in the GREAT state of Maine.
