My project is about whaling. I learned that Norway and Japan have refused to follow a law to stop whaling when many other countries agreed to it. They are the biggest contributors to whaling. :(

Water pollution is being stopped in a number of ways. Large companies are no longer allowed to pump chemicals into natural water supplies, and heavy taxes have been imposed. Hence, companies no longer carelessly pump waste into natural water supplies.

The topic my my project is based on is GMO's, or genetically modified organisms. One thing I learned while studying GMOs was what a GMO was. Before, I never even heard of GMOs.

My science project is on Bengal tigers being endangered! In the early 1900s, there were an estimated 100,000 tigers throughout their range. Today there are estimated to be about 4,000 Bengal Tigers left in the world. It is estimated there are only 1,800 of these tigers left in the wild. The other 2,200 are in zoos and wildlife preserves in attempts to keep them safe and repopulate them.
