Does rock type make a difference in the rate of chemical and mechanical weathering?
How about the size of the piece of rock, does that make a difference?

Size and type definitely DO matter!

Yes, the size and shape change how it looks and feels (maybe tastes :) ) after the weathering is complete.

Yes, the type of rock can make a difference because some rocks are softer then others and easier to ware down physically and chemically. Sometimes, the size can make a difference

Yes, rock size does matter. The larger the rock, the more rain it collects, and more space for plants to grow.

Yes it does Because marble wears down faster Granite, and size maters to a big rock would take less time than a small rock

Yes it makes an impact on how fast it goes through the process and how much chemical weathering it takes to move it away!
