Abrasion

What is abrasion ? Is it a form of weathering or erosion? If it is a form of weathering would it be chemical or mechanical? If it is erosion which erosional force causes abrasion. Please explain your answer in complete sentences. If you use  a reference  please include your source with your post.

Abrasion is the process of wearing things down. It is a form of erosion. Wind is the erosional force that causes abrasion.
