How do you think the shape of bones relate to their function? Name bones that we have that have different shapes. the skull is kinda roundish squared. the pelvis is kinda like a figure 8 a leg bone is like a dog bone shape
How do you think the shape of bones relate to their function? Name bones that we have that have different shapes. It makes it so that they can move the right way and stuff. The skull is a different shape than the pelvis.
well the shape would show if it would be big or small like leg bones they are tall and kinda skinny but they are made to hold us up and the skull protection and the ribs also for protection.
I think that a leg bone might have a shape for its function because it is really log so it needs to move. Also the arm bone because it is also very long so you can stretch out and the skull has a special shape to protect your brain. Also the rib cage to protect your organs like hearts and lungs.
If a bone is small it can do more thinks like the knee.If a bone is big it will do less things like the femur. Those are some bone shapes and their functions.
the shape of the bone relates to their function, it makes it so that they can move properly. well the hand bones, and the skull are both different shapes.
The shape of bones relate to their function in many ways. I think that if a bone is a certain shape, it can protect. Depending on the shape of the bone, it can move or not move, like the humerus can move but the ribs can't move. Things like the pelvis, ribs, and skull can't move, but are good for protection.
I think that the shape of bones probably effects the function because some shapes can't do certain things because they might not be big enough to do certain things. The skull is hollow and round so it can hold the brain for example.
How do you think the shape of bones relate to their functions? Name bones that we have that have different shapes.
I think the shape of bones relate to their function because the bones have to be a certain shape for them to either hold more weight and so that the bones can support your body. Like the knee.
The shape of the bone relates to there function because like the rib cage is shaped like how it is because so all the organ can fit inside of it. Also the leg bone is big so it can hold weight.
I think that a leg bone might have a shape for its function because it is really log so it needs to move. Also the arm bone because it is also very long so you can stretch out and the skull has a special shape to protect your brain. Also the rib cage to protect your organs like hearts and lungs.
the bones were shaped to support and protect . the ribs were designed to protect your lungs and the bones in your feet were designed to fit together and support all of your body weight
I think that the shapes of bones relate to their functions because if the end of your bone isn't the right shape it wouldn't be able to fit into the joint. The Shape helps you let your bones move.Bones that have differents shapes are things like the skull, the leg and arm bones, and the the wrist, finger, and the pelvis.
I think the shape of bones relate to their functions because like in the experiment yesterday it showed that the cylinder shape is the most strong so the bones are cylinder and are made of strong material, so hey can withstand our body's weight and the impact of the stuff we do. A Different shaped bone in our body is the pelvis because it doesn't really have that cylinder shape like the other bones. The skull is also differently shaped.
the shape of bones effects how the bone moves because if it is a joint such as the joint where your finger connects to the hand is cannot move from side and it cannot move in a circle so a pivot joint cannot move in a circle like a ball and socket joint. the patella, the where the mandible connects to the skull, where the skull connects to the neck, the shoulder, the elbow and the heel.
I think the shape of bones is related to the function in a few ways. Fist, as we learned yesterday, circular is really strong. Also, it's a shape that helps us move in an easy way.
your bones are formed to your body to form its shape and protect all your important organs that you need to live. the cylinder like shape of your bones make them stronger than just a thin or flat piece on bone.
Different bones have different shapes that are affected by their functions. Some examples are your skull which is shaped like a helmet to protect your brain and your ribs which are shaped like a cage to protect your heart and lungs.
Bones have different shape that has to do with their functions. Like your skull which is helped to protect your brain and your ribs which protects your lungs and heart.
I think bones shape have a certain purpose to serve in their shape because if your ribs didn't shape around your internal organs they would be vulnerable. Your skull protects your brain from being hurt. And, your elbow is made to hinge.
How do you think the shape of your bones relate to there functions? Yesturday we went over how the bone shape is that specific shape for a reason and we tested it out.
How do you think the shape of bones relate to their function? Name bones that we have that have different shapes. The skull is rounded because our brain is rounded and that helps it protect our brain together. The femur is shaped differently so it can support our body weight properly. Our fingers are shaped the way they are so we can grab things.
Many different shaped bones make up your skeletal system. The femur is a cylinder to be supportive, the skull is round to hold the brain efficiently, and the ribs are like jail bars to keep in the heart and the lungs.
How do you think the shape of bones relate to their functions? Name bones that we have that have different shapes. Bones are stronger in cillinder form. The skull is a circular shape.

Yes I do think the shape of bones relate to their function.Bones that have different shapes are fingers depending on age, toes also depending on age.

if the bone is big it will do less, femur.
The shape of bone relate to there functions like The rib cage is shaped like that so the organs can all fit inside it.
I think they are different shapes so they can function differently.
The spine, the pelvis, and the skull all have different shapes.

the shape of bones relate to the functions, the round bones hold more weight.the falanges are small because they are flexible. :D

The shapes of the bones relate to the functions because circular bones hold more weight and that is how they fit together.

the shapes relates to their functions makes it so they can move properly.
Their shape depends on were they are in the body. some of their shapes are kinda cylinderish like and kinda circley
The shape of the bone relates to there function because how it circular and because of that it helps hold up your body.
Hannah Wrote this(:
The shape of the bones have to do with their function because the shape of of the ribs are so they can protect the organs.
The shapes relates to their functions makes it so they can move properly. Some bones that have different shapes are the rib cage and the femur.
The shape depends on the place in the human body.
Skull is kinda like a circle
Because if the bones were a different we would look SOO weird. Also because our insides might not be protected as good
The curve of your bones helps you move and do stuff.
The shape of the bones effect the shape of the body.
I think that a leg bone might have a shape for its function because it is really log so it needs to move. Also the arm bone because it is also very long so you can stretch out and the skull has a special shape to protect your brain. Also the rib cage to protect your organs like hearts and lungs.
Their shape depends on were the bones are in the body. Some of them are circular and some are long and some are very important.
The shape of the bones effect there strength, our skull is circular and our leg bones are straight up and down.

i think that it depends on the bones job in the body. two bones that look different are the skull and the leg bones
if they were too round, they would be harder to move or bend.if they were too skinny, they would break more easily.
the bones were shaped to support and protect . the ribs were designed to protect your lungs and the bones in your feet were designed to fit together and support all of your body weight
The shape of a skull is roundish, squarish and the pelvis is shaped like a figure 8. If bones are to round they would be harder to move or bend.
the skull protects the brain and the falagies help move things
I think that the shapes of bones relate to their functions because if the end of your bone isn't the right shape it wouldn't be able to fit into the joint. The Shape helps you let your bones move.Bones that have differents shapes are things like the skull, the leg and arm bones, and the the wrist, finger, and the pelvis.
Your skull is shaped around your brain.
Your ribs are shaped around your lungs and your heart.

bones are round so they can hold more weight and keep you up

Bones are strongest in cylindrical form.
Bones can move easier.
The following bones have different shapes:
SKULL
PELVIS
COLLAR BONE
Every bone in the body has a unique shape.
Your pelvis is a different shape is a oval circle thingy and your ribs are kinda like pencils
Rounded, spine, pelvis, Ribs
the shape of a bone helps it do its job better by it helps it bend or hold weight. Your knee cap is a circle.
The shape of bones relates to the function of that certain bone because the bones have to be shaped differently to fit the job of the bone.
The thickness of a rib is like a pencil and your pelvis is to swivel
your bones are formed to your body to form its shape and protect all your important organs that you need to live. the cylinder like shape of your bones make them stronger than just a thin or flat piece on bone.

bones have different shape bones for support like your femur and you fingers are flexible bones
The ribs are like a cage, that protect specific organs.
The skull is round, to protect the brain.
Most bones protect or help us do certain things,
and thats what I think of the shapes of different bones.
How do you think the shape of the bones relate to there function? Skull because its a circle and the ribs because they look wierd.
the shape makes the bones attack to the rounded tissue. i think.......?. And the shape of the rib bones keep the meat.

pelvis,collar bone, skull
