Soon there will be a test over what we have learned so far this year.
In your post today suggest a question for that test and post your answer to that question. Remember questions should be only about what we have covered.

A question could be: What type of errosion is a landslide caused by?
What is the differance between mechanical weathering and chemical weathering.
Ans. The difference between mechanical and chemical weathering is that mechanical weathering is when something moves or destroys an object while chemical weathering is when a chemical or acid takes apart an object
What is some evidence that a long time ago there was glaciers in some of the deserts.
answer: There are dropping sediments that are different from the surrounding earth that are found in deserts that glaciers had picked up traveled and fell.
Q. what are the two types of weathering and give three examples of these types of weathering and what they do.
A. the two types of weathering are; mechanical and chemical. Three examples of mechanical weathering are ice wedging, animals, and plants. Three examples of chemical weathering are oxidation, carbonic acid, and acid rain. Ice wedging is when water gets into a trap and then freezes and expands, causing the substance to break away. animals can burrow in the ground, cut down trees, and cause other damage to the earth. plants can be blown over and crash int objects. their roots also push up the soil. oxidation is another name for rust. carbonic acid erodes limestone and acid rain erodes almost anything.
A. Creep is when a tree tilts to one side, Creep is when over time, days, months, and years, a tree on a hill starts to tilt to one side and eventually it will fall over, and you will be able to see the roots!!!!!!!! =D

what are the 3 erosional forces, wind , gravity, and glaciers!!!!!!!
What are the 3 erosional forces?
They are Gravity,Wind,Galciers.
What is the difference between chemical and mechanical weathering.
chemical weathering is when you do not physicaly change it changes over time. mechanical weathering is when you physicaly change it.
what causes glaciers?

Some suggestions for the test wold be what are the 3 erosional forces. Answer: glaciers, wind, and gravity.
what is the difference between mech. and chem. weathering.
What are three erosional forces?
1~ Wind.
2~ Gravity.
3~ Glaciers.
The question would be something like, What causes landslides, and what is ice wedging.
Name 2 types of glaciers
What is mechanical and chemical weathering
MECH: Animals,plant roots,ice wedging
CHEM: Plant acid,carbonic acid,
What causes Mechanical and Chemical weathering??
Q.Like the chemical and machanical weathering chart thingy.you should put that on the weird test thing.
name 3 things that could possibly could happen if we had another ice age in 2011?
1.the sun could die out.
2.Our human population would die out because people would fight over food.
3. no electricity
if you think you can add more please do;)
How many years ago was the last ice age?
What does the bottom of a glacier feel like?
Slushy puddy.
A question that could be on the test could be:
Q.What are the three types of erosional forces and the types of weathering?
A.a.gravity, glaciers, and wind.
b. Mechanical and Chemical
1. What is the type of mechanical weathering that most small animals do.
Burrowing
Gravity, glaciers, and _______are erosion factors.
wind
What is the major erosional forces we've studied effects Maine the most.
What are the three types of erosional forces?
1) Gravity
2) Wind
3) Glaciers
What are the marks and scrapes that glaciers leave behind in their path?
Glaicers leave grooves behind in their path.
what are the three erosional forces?
1 gravity
2 glaciers
3 wind
You Rip A Piece Of Playdough in half. What is the force that you just made occur
Answer- Erosi0n
What are the two types of weathering, and give examples of them. Give a paragraph or more.
Chemical, and Mechanical. Chemical is things like plant acid. Mechanical is things like animals. Without these, there would be no world.
Q: How many erosional forces are there? Name all of them
A: The three kinds of erosional forces are glaciers, wind, and Gravity.
what do glaciers create?
they create valleys
Q. What is the average length of movement of glaciers per year?
A. 1 inch.
What are the two types of weathering?
Two types of weathering are mechanical and chemical.
