I think that obviously science could have saved the Salem Witch Trials from ever happening. I mean, with science, we can prove what, "Devil marks" really are, just. And also science can now prove that witchcraft isn't real. But you really don't even need science to tell you that witch craft isn't real. All you need is a small dose of reality... If only they knew how to put a small dose of reality in a vaccine.
On to the last thing I know Mr. Andreasen said something about a ship that is always docked there when we go down. So maybe we will learn about how the ocean affects the ship in terms of erosion.

If they did, then yes, it very well could have. If the people in Salem in the 17th century knew all the stuff we do now, everything would've changed. People would have been healthier, lived longer, and would have been happier. They would know all about erosion and how things are created and so on so forth. But people would possibly stop believing in God though.
