Evolution and adaption, i'm going to write a few papers, make a diagram of adaption into cold and hot climates and make a timeline depicting the human evolution from a single cell organism
I have been approved to make a movie about rockets when they fly and how rockets improved over the years. And falling that I show posters of all the rockets I launched.
I HAVE BEEN APPROVED TO DO MY PROJECT ON SQUIRRELS!!!! which include flying squirrels, black squirrels, gray squirrels, tree squirrels,ground squirrels, african pygmy squirrel, oriental giant squirrel, eastern gray squirrel, 13 lined ground squirrel,white tailed antelope squirrel, neotropical pygmy squirrel, pine squirrel, indian palm squirrel, grizzled giant squirrel, southern flying squirrel,prevost's squirrel unstriped ground squirrel

For my approved project i am going to study chemical reactions.(awesome i know) I am going to make a one page report on chemical reactions. Along with it a paper mache volcano that explodes. I will try to make one that can explode more than once. :)
I'm going to make a model of the cell with models of all the organelles. Plus the organelles will be suspended in Jello! And a model of a genetic strand with the help of Ian!
What I got approved to do for my project is to make a foldable poster on evolution and how its not an intelegent proscess and on the DNA of a human being. Also me and Archer are going to help each other make a model of a DNA strand.
Im doing my project on Yellowstone national park. although Mr. Ruby thinks i should do it on Jellystone instead of Yellowstone, and how yogi and bobo are related and how picanic baskets affect their diet, but i turned him down. I really wanted to do mine on yellowstone so thats what im doing it on. Im doing my prsentation on kenote because i know how to use kenote o it will be easy and fun.
I was approved to research Chinese Giant Salamanders. They are CE (critically endangered)and live in... China. They prefer wet mountainous territory to live in. I plan to make a poster, share some videos from ARKive.com,a write a small report. I recommend ARKive to anyone doing a project about a rare or endangered animal (its a great website to check out even if it's not about your project).
I am doing a poster about White Tigers. I will find out why they are white, where they live, some fun facts, if they are really at the top of the food chain like we think, and if not what eats/kills them.
I am going to build 2 catapults of the same dimensions one a torsion/tension catapult with a bungee cord and ropes. The other a tension catapult with just a bungee cord.
My project is going to be a very interesting project. At first I wanted to do something on the science of weapons, but unfortunately that project was formally rejected by Mr. Ruby. I proceeded to think hard about what I would do. Everyone else was going to be doing animals, (or at least a lot of people I know,) so that was out for me. I wanted to do something different, but still something that would be fun for people to watch, and that they would enjoy. So when we took that day to do TED talk, I got an idea. One of the videos I saw was about optical illusions. I really liked what I saw and it was fun to watch. I had decided what I would do. My plan is to have a hole bunch of optical illusions, and make it into a kind of T.V show-ish video showing all of the optical illusions and why the eye interprets them like they do. I'll also demonstrate how to make an optical illusion so people can make the fun on their own.
Haha katie, one time i was up at my uncle's camp in new hampshire and my room i was in was facing the woods. So i woke up hearing something scratching and there was a full grown bull moose scratching his antlers against the tree. I opened my window and he looked straight at me.
I am doing my project on Marine biology and/or ocean life. I am interested in this subject because it is a totally different life in the ocean. We live on land, they live in water, it is just so different, it is cool. It would be sooo awesome if someone like us (people) could experience living in the ocean. But that would be very difficult to adapt to, so I will try to demonstrat what it would be like to actually live down in the ocean. I am making a poster/trifold and a written report and probably a clay model

I'm doing at tri-fold of the human body. I am specifically doing the digestive system. That is what I know the least about and i wanted to learn more.
