Alfred Wegener was missing the reason why the continents moved. Using just one sentence explain what we now believe is the reason why the continents move.
The continents move because the plate tectonics move and those move because of hot rock in the crust of the Earth rising and rubbing against the surface and pulling the plates away.
It happens because the rock heated by the earths flaming, boiling hot core rises up and forces the plates apart. When the plates are forced apart, pieces of rock is pushed into the earths core and melted, making more rock to move the earth apart. If Alfred Wegener knew this, and he had proof of it. He'd be a genius and NOT called a mad-man!

ReplyDeleteI think weathering is the cause of weatering and RAIN!!!
ReplyDeleteWenger was missing the reason why the continents move we now know that they move from seafloor spreading and tectonic plates.
ReplyDeleteWhat we believe now is continental drift is the source of continents moving.
ReplyDeleteWe believe that the reason why the continents are moving is plate tectonics moving past each other.
ReplyDeleteit looked like the contents could fit together.
ReplyDeleteWe now think the continents move by weathering
ReplyDeleteTectonic Plates is why continents move.
ReplyDeleteWe know believe that the continents moved, North america and Europe has the same plant life and rocky places so they were apart each other.
ReplyDeleteWe now believe that the continents moved because of weathering and erosion, and I think because of seafloor spreading.
ReplyDeleteI think weathering causes the continents to move.
ReplyDeletecause of the continents moving
ReplyDeleteWeathering is made by rain.
ReplyDeleteI think that weathering is the reason why the continents move.

ReplyDeleteI think that the earthquakes and the movement of the water will cause the continents to move.
ReplyDeleteWenger was missing the reason why the continents move we now know that they move from seafloor spreading and tectonic plates
ReplyDeleteThe reason continents move is because of tectonic plates.
ReplyDeletewhat moved the stuff was convection currents. :)
ReplyDeleteConvections currents are the force that move the plates.
ReplyDeleteConvection currents are what cause the plates to move and to move the continents.
ReplyDeleteThe reason Continents move is because of Convection Currents.
ReplyDeleteI think that convection currents are what moved the continents.
ReplyDeleteThe reason is plate tectonics.
ReplyDeleteI think the continents move because, of convection currents.
ReplyDeleteThe continents move from conventional currents
ReplyDeleteConvection currents what makes continents move which is continental drift.
ReplyDeleteconvection currents are the force that move plate.
ReplyDeleteconvection current forces the plates to move
ReplyDeleteIt happens because hot rock rises.
ReplyDeletethe reason is because is hot rock rise's.
ReplyDeleteI think it rise and then splits and then starts cooling down.
ReplyDeleteConvection Current makes the continents move, which is when hot rock pushes against the earths surface, and the cool rock goes down into the earth.
ReplyDeleteThe plates move because of convection currents.
ReplyDeleteHe couldn't explain plate techtonics.
ReplyDeleteConvection currents are what move plates that causes earthquakes and volcanoes to erupt also.
ReplyDeleteConvection currents are the force that move plates.
ReplyDeleteThe reason we believe that continents move, are because the convection currents are moving plate tectonics.
ReplyDeletethe thing that alfred wagner was missing the evidence of convection currents are the force that move plates.
ReplyDeleteThey are also moved by convection currents.
ReplyDelete[Scottish accent ] the rock gets heated by the earths core witch moves the sea floor to move the contenents.
ReplyDeletecanada is awesome
ReplyDeleteConvection Currents make the plates move on the surface of the earth to make lava to burst
ReplyDeleteConvection Currents are the force that move the plates.
ReplyDeletehot rock rize and then idk
ReplyDeletethey didnt know that the what moves earth is plate techtonics
ReplyDeletethe heat moves the earths crust slowly movieing the conatents
ReplyDeleteIt happens because hot rock rises
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
Because of lava and rock underground moving up or down or sideways
ReplyDeleteWe now believe that the reason why continents move is because of hot rock in the crust of the earth. It rises, causing the plates to move.
ReplyDeleteConvection currents are the force that move plates.
ReplyDeleteI think the reason why the continents move because, the the heat moves the earths crust.
ReplyDeleteConvection currents are the force that move plates.
ReplyDeleteWhat we believe that happened was hot rock flowing up from the earths core moving the earths plates causing continental drift.
ReplyDeleteWhen hot rocks rise.
ReplyDeleteThe continents move because the plate tectonics move and those move because of hot rock in the crust of the Earth rising and rubbing against the surface and pulling the plates away.
ReplyDeleteIt happens because the rock heated by the earths flaming, boiling hot core rises up and forces the plates apart. When the plates are forced apart, pieces of rock is pushed into the earths core and melted, making more rock to move the earth apart. If Alfred Wegener knew this, and he had proof of it. He'd be a genius and NOT called a mad-man!
ReplyDeleteWhat Alfred Wegener was missing is how the tectonic plates move. The plates move from heat from the earths core slowly spreading them apart.
ReplyDeleteThe the heat moves the earths crust.
ReplyDeleteThe earths core releases hot rock and it makes parts of the world sink
ReplyDeleteRock comes up shifts outwards then when it cools it drowns
ReplyDeleteThe reason continents move is because of continental drift.
ReplyDeletethe continents move because hot rocks rise
ReplyDeletehot rock rises and makes the sufis move in directions.
ReplyDeletethen as it cools it falls back down.
Heat and convection currents.
ReplyDeleteBecause the hot rock rises to the Earth.
ReplyDeleteheat pressure and convection currents
ReplyDeleteconvection currents are the force that move plates
ReplyDeleteWhat we believe now is continental drift is the source of continents moving.
ReplyDeleteI think that weathering is the reason why the continents move.
ReplyDeleteConvection currents
ReplyDeleteI think heat and weathering is the reason why the continents move
ReplyDeleteI think that convection currents are why the continents move.
ReplyDeleteWe now believe that the continents move because of convection currents.
ReplyDeleteI think the continents move because of different kinds of waves and the moving of plates.
ReplyDeletethe continental drift. :) (the plates of the earth moving around the molten center)
ReplyDeleteThe continents move from conventional currents
ReplyDeleteconvection currents are why the continents move
ReplyDeleteThe continents move from conventional currents
ReplyDeleteI think that a big earthquake moved all the continents.
ReplyDeletei thank that earthquakes broke all the continents.
ReplyDeletei think
ReplyDeleteI think it was earthquakes that moved the continents.
