Looking at a set of Parents, and trying to guess what there children would look like wouldn't be hard. Each Parent has there own genes, and some genes are stronger then others. Such as if one parent had green eyes, and the other had blue, chances are their children would have blue eyes. Blue eyes are a strong gene. Its almost like a wrestling match. The Stronger of the two Genes would become the Child's Gene. The genes of the Parents are passed on to the Child.
By looking at the parents you can see their genes (eye color, hair color, size, etc ) and their children will be a mix of the those genes so you can get an idea of what they will look like.
Because the sperm has a certain set of genes and so does the egg the sperm is the fathers genes and the egg is the mothers genes so usually when those genes unite they combine and share genes.
If your parents both have brown hair you will have brown hair but somethings are random if your parents look different like if your mom ha blue eyes and your dad has brown you could have ether one but they will not have green eyes.
You can look at a set of parents and predict what the child would look like by the parents genes for example if both parents have brown eyes the offspring will most likely have brown eyes.
By looking at the parents you can see their genes and children, and what will be a mix of the those genes, you can get an idea of what they will look like.
The children can be created by their genetics. Children usually have ether hair colors, eye colors, or sizes for hands and feet in common with a parent.
If you look at the parents, you can see what traits they may have in common and what they might not. That could determine what there kids will look like
It might help to look at the parents to tell what their children might look like because the children usually look almost exactly like their parents.
