  12. Weathering is when a certain force is used to change the looks of something. For example, it would take 10,000 years for a volcanic eruption to happen. After the eruption, the landscape around the volcano would be withered. The lava from the volcano burned and destroyed the land around the volcano, changing the way it looks.

  60. I think of when rocks are on the side of a mountain, above a river. The rain slowly breaks up the rocks, and the rocks roll down the mountain. The river carries the rocks down the river, and eventually the rock stops moving, and gets wedged into the river bed. The rock eventually then forms many pebbles that create the sand at the bottom of rivers.
Another example is a glacier, it is weathering. It's melting slowly because of changes in weather. Weathering is basically when weather helps change landforms into different shapes.
A volcano is a similar example. Changes in the earths surface cause it to erupt, and it form new rocks, and the cycle starts over again. The rocks with eventually separate and the volcano with erupt and form new ones.
