How does the study of geological time relate to the study of evolution? How can we connect the work of Gregor Mendel, Charles Darwin, and Alfred Wegener?
Fossils help you create an image of what an animal looked like. We can connect the work of these three by Charles Darwins theory of evolution, Gregor Mendels theory of reproduction, and Alfred Wegeners theory of continental shift to help prove there was different types of life before us.

Geological time and evolution relate because goelogical time makes up and separates the way thing evolved into catagorys. Such as how the jurastic period evoloved by them going extinct, but the time the dinosaurs were around it was the darastic period because they ruled the earth and when they went extinct that time period was over. The three scientists wagner, darwin, and mendel all relate because they were all trying to prove the theory of evolution.
You can connect the work of Gregor Mendel, Charles Darwin, Alfred Wegener, the study of geological time, and the study of evolution. You can connect them because Alfred Wegener proved that continental drift has happened and is still happening very slowly on a minuscule scale. Charles Darwin proved that animals have evolved to better suit their environment. And Gregor Mendel proved that plants have evolved and pass down these changes. You can relate these together because if you look at the different fossil records seen across the world you can see that similar plants and animals have evolved over long and short periods of time. If you all look at the shape of different countries you can see that they all fit together like a puzzle and you can look at the fossil records of different countries and see that different countries have very similar fossil records. That is how you can link geological time, evolution, Gregor Mendel, Charles Darwin, and Alfred Wegener together.
