To the moon with Newton's Laws

Elias wants to be an astronaut he was telling Hunter that he really likes the powerful take off when the rocket launches from Earth. He also said you need rockets when landing on the moon. Why would you need rockets when landing on the moon? What would you use instead of rockets to land on the Earth?

  1. You would need a parachute on earth and rocket on the moon because there is a lot more gravity on the earth.

  2. you need rockets to even out the impact because if you didn't have rockets you would die from impact. you might want a parachute for earth because the atmosphere is bigger and the gravity is stronger.

  3. You would need rocket to land on the moon because it doesn't have gravity. You would need a parachute to land on earth because the gravity pulls you toward the planet.

  4. You need rockets to brace for the impact and you would want a parachute on earth because there is more gravity.

  5. You need a rocket to land on the moon because there is no gravity pulling you towards the moon, you could use a parachute when landing back on the Earth because Earths gravity pulls you in.

  6. the moon has less gravity and to land on the earth you need Parachute because the earth has more gas the the moon so it has more gavity.

  7. you would need rockets on the moon since there is no air because on earth you use a parachute since there is air that is slowing it down.

  8. You would need a rocket to land on the moon because it has very little gravity and you would need a parachute in Earth because the gravity is puling you down.

  9. You would need a parachute on earth because gravity is pulling you in, but on the moon, you would need a rocket because there is not a lot of gravity.

  10. you need a rocket to land on the moon because theres no gravity pulling you toward the moon on earth you could just parachute

  11. You would need a rocket to land on the moon, and a parachute to land on earth.

  12. You would need rockets when landing on the moon because there is no gravity and the natural force of the moon will push against the rockets and the rockets do the same making them even out to land on the moon. You would need a parachute when landing on earth because of wind and the gravity.

  15. You need a rocket for the moon cause there is less gravity pulling on your rocket and you will need a parachute on earth because there is more gravity pulling on the rocket so the parachute will sooth the landing.

  20. You need a rocket on the moon because it has no atmosphere, whereas you can use a parachute on the earth because it has air.

  22. On the moon you would not need a parachute but a rocket because there is no atmosphere for the parachute to slow down on. You would want a parachute for earth because the atmosphere is more pronounced.

  23. you'd land with a parachute on the earth and a rocket on the moon because there is an atmosphere on earth to have you land but there isn't on the moon so you need reverse thrust to land.

  24. You would need a rocket on the moon there is less gravity pulling on the rocket towards the moon and there is no atmosphere in the outer space. You would need a parachute on earth because the air is pulling the parachute towards the ground with the force.

  25. You would need a parachute on earth because it has air, and rocket on the moon because of the atmosphere

  26. You would need rockets because of the impact that the moon will give.

  27. You would need a parachute on earth because of the stronger gravity, and you would need rockets because of the lower gravity.

  29. You would need a parachute on Earth because of the stronger gravity, and a rocket on the moon.

  30. you need rockets so because there is less gravity so they need to make artificial friction so that they can slow down before they crash into the moon

  31. no atmosphere so u need rockes

  36. You need a parachute on Earth and a rocket on the moon , because of the atmosphere.

  37. You would need a parachute on earth and a rocket in space because there's a lot more gravity on the earth.

  38. You would need a parachute on the earth and rockets on the moon because there is more gravity on the earth than the moon

  39. Because you don't need to accelerate when you enter the Earth's atmosphere because of gravity. So you need a parachute to slow down the acceleration.

  40. you need a paaichute on earth because your in the atmosphere because theres gravity but since theres no gravity on the moon you wouldn't need a parachute

  41. I think you would need rockets when landing on the moon because there is less gravity and no atmosphere, and on Earth you would use a parachute because there is an atmosphere, along with a lot of gravity.

  42. You would need a parachute to land on Earth and to land on the moon you would need a rocket due to the atmosphere.

  43. You need a rocket when landing on the moon because there is no atmosphere. Since the Earth has an atmosphere to slow you down, you could land with a parachute.

  44. you would use a parachute on earth and a rocket on the moon because earth has a atmosphere and the moon doesn't.

  45. I think that in order to land on Earth safely you would not need rockets, instead of a parachute. And when landing on the moon you would need rockets to direct where you are going because otherwise you just float any where.

    ReplyDelete
  46. you could use a parachute to get on earth and you'd need a rocket to get on the moon because it does not have the gravitational pull that earth has.

  47. On the moon rockets are needed because of the lack of atmosphere. Whereas on Earth there is suitable gravity and atmosphere to use a parachute.

  48. you'll need rockets when landing on the moon cus the gas that is rleast from the rocket will push on one unthr wich will slow dawn the rocket but it will still go dawn cus the force of gravdy is shongr then the force of the rocket. you'll need a pairshote to go sloe wen landing on earth

  49. On earth you would need a parachute on the moon there is no atmosphere or gravity so you would need a rocket.

  50. On earth you would need a parachute on the moon there is no atmosphere or gravity so you would need a rocket.

  51. You need rockets to land on the moon because there is no atmosphere so you need to use rockets to slow the rocket ship down and you do not need rockets to land on Earth because there is a atmosphere so you can use a parachute instead.

  52. On earth you would need a parachute on the moon there is no atmosphere or gravity so you would need a rocket.

  53. You would need ab rocket to land on the moon because it doesn't have gravity and Theres not enough gravity on the moon for the parachute to work. You would need a parachute to land on earth because the earth has an atmosphere so the air opens up the parachute so air resistance helps for a softer landing.

  54. You need a rocket to land on the moon because there isn't as much gravity on the moon. You can use a parachute to land on earth because there is gravity on the earth that will pull you down, and the air resistance will make a softer landing.
