Stimulus


Part 1 
Give an example of an external stimulus that would affect the nervous system, and how you would know that stimulus was causing a reaction. 


Part 2 
You become thirsty and want a drink of water, what type of stimulus would this be?

    part 2-the way you could tell that you are thirsty is your brain getting messages that yiur body doesn't have much water so you get thirsty and you get some water to replenish yourself

    If you become thirsty and want a drink of water you would use a learned response to go get a drink.

  39. 1. If you where cold from a breeze coming from a window. You would close the window, or cover yourself in a blanket. And in some cases where you can't close the window, you wrap yourself in a blanket, making a squirrel home for yourself.

    2. If you are thirsty and want a drink of water, this is called an internal stimulus.

  41. 1) You are able to tell if your nervous system is causing a reaction whenever you act out of fear, surprise, etc. An example of this would be when you are scared, you may scream or run away.
    2) When you feel thirst, your nervous system is reacting to an internal stimulus. Feeling thirsty is a reaction caused by the nervous system to maintain homeostasis.
