Why does it stop?

You roll a model car down the hallway. The car comes to a stop without hitting anything. Cameron  says the car stops because there was no force pushing on it. Emma says it stopped because of unseen forces. Who do you agree with and explain why.

EMMA IS RIGHT because friction is the biggest force that is stopping it.

  2. I agree with both because they both are causes of friction.

  5. I agree with emma because friction is what slows stuff down.

the friction would make emma right.

  14. I think that Emma is right because the car is also being influenced by other forces like gravity and friction.

  15. Cameron is right because friction stops all forces from pushing the object.

  16. emma is correct because of unseen forces

  20. i agree with emma because you push the car down the hallway so there is a push force.

  22. Unseen forces

  23. I agree with Emma because friction is the way that it slows down.

  24. emma because of air friction

  25. I think that both Cameron and Emma could be right. If you had someone pushing the car, than the car would never stop moving until the person stopped pushing it, and the unseen forces would stop the car from the gravity pulling it down, and slowing its speed.

  26. It stopped because it had to slow down some day c: (Cameron)

  27. I agree with both because theres no friction or push force.

  28. I agree with both because though Cameron's argument is not the cause of the car stoping, yet it still happened.

  29. I agree with emma because newton said that a object in motion stays in motion .

  30. i agree with emma because there is one law of pshcis that say's that their is a force that's called friction that stops the thing that you push

  35. I agree with Emma because friction, an unseen force slows things down until they stop.
