The sun lets the plants go through photosynthesis, and the plant could be a good food for us. We eat the food with our mouth and it goes down our esophagus, and then down to the stomach. After it gets digested in the stomach it goes to the small intestine, which then goes into the bloodstream, which carries the nutrients to the cells.
