I think Florida is very susceptible to natural disasters. It is a long peninsula, so a tsunami or a hurricane could cause very bad flooding/destruction.
I pick tornado alley (the mid-west region of the U.S.A.) I feel it is prone to natural disasters because, it is so dry and humid in parts of the year that tornados and other natural disasters show up there.
