Natural Disaster Local or Global


A natural hazard is a natural process that can be dangerous to humans and society. What do you think would be the difference between a local and global disaster? Please give an example of each type.

The difference between a local and a global natural disaster is, a local disaster is something that happens in only the town that you live in, a global natural disaster is something that happens worldwide. An example of a local natural disaster is a small tornado going through a small town, an example of a global natural disaster is a hurricane going through multiple nations, leaving behind wreckage from peoples houses everywhere. (Hurricane Matthew was a global disaster.)
