Physics Seasons Begins

Our  next unit of study takes us to physics. One of the four basic forces of nature is gravity. You may already know about gravity. Please post what you know about gravity. (not what the web knows)

  2. Gravity hold every thing down so we can stand, walk, run, ect.

  3. Gravity keeps us on the ground. And on Earth. Without it we would fly off into space. Its also make everything fall.

  4. gravity is what holds things down

  5. I know that Newton wrote the laws of Gravity.

  8. Gravity is the pull that keeps us on earth. It's what makes things fall downwards and makes leaves hang, and what makes us fall DOWN stairs, not up them. Gravity is the reason we don't float off and into space.

  9. What I know about gravity is that when you drop something it falls. For example, if you drop an apple where there is gravity, it will fall.

  10. gravity is everywhere ! !(on Earth)

  11. Gravity keeps us on the ground.

  12. I know that gravity keeps you on the ground instead of letting you float up to the potatoe aliens... even though that would be super cool.

Gravity is when you throw something up in the air it will have to come down. On Thursday I was outside with the baseball team and a paper was flying up in the air and it flew out a window and flew into the High School Softball field.

  14. Gravity pulls everything to the Center of the Earth.Sir Isaac Newton discovered Gravity because of an Apple falling off of a Tree and onto his Head.

Gravity is the atmosphere on Earth that keeps us balanced. It can cause natural disasters such as landslides and avalanches. Gravity can weather and erode rocks and hills; it is one of the strongest forces on Earth. Sir Isaac Newton discovered Gravity.

  16. if we didn't have gravity have gravity we would float and everything we trew up would stay up

  17. gravity is the thing that makes the apples fall on that wierd guys head.

  18. Gravity Makes things fall.

  19. Gravity keeps things on the ground, and makes things fall from a high elevation.

Well Gravity Is The Thing That Is Keeping Us Humans On The Ground Of The Earth.

  21. It keeps us on the ground and it makes you fall if you are in the air.

  22. Gravity makes things fall! PHYSICS

  23. gravity is what keeps us on the ground

  24. If i Throw an apple in the sky it will come down.

  25. Gravity makes things fall! PHYSICS

  26. Gravity hold every thing down so we can stand, walk, run.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Gravity is what keeps things grounded, and makes things fall when you throw them up. A special scientist that had to do with gravity was Isaac Newton.

    ReplyDelete
  28. What I know about gravity is, it keeps us on the ground so things aren't like astronauts in space.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Gravity weighs things down.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Gravity is the pull that keeps everything in its place by a almost magnetic pull. For example two different magnets they pull together and if they are the same they pull apart. This keeps many things in place such as the plaetary alinement and us on earth. Gravity is a force used on are planet and space.

  31. Gravity sticks us to the earth. and it was discovered by newton.

    ReplyDelete
  32. gravity keeps us on the grown and cars and are food and if we dident have gravity we would not beable to live casue we would need to have food and space would kill us cause there is no oxygen

    ReplyDelete
  33. Gravity keeps physics and weight in check.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Gravity keeps us on earth. It makes things come back down to earth.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Gravity holds you down to the earth

    ReplyDelete
  36. gavity is what keeps us on the gound

    ReplyDelete
  37. Gravity is what holds things up and what makes things come down and there is no gravity in space.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Gravity keep are feet on the ground, and other objects on the ground.

Gravity makes things fall it doesn't float it just falls

    ReplyDelete
  40. Gravity keeps us on the ground.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Gravity keeps us on the ground .

    ReplyDelete
  42. Gravity pushes on all sides of any planet and keeps us on earth. If there wasn't gravity we all would be floating onto the universe.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Gravity keeps you on the ground and won't let you fly into space and never be seen again

    ReplyDelete
  44. Newton little: *Gets hit with an apple* THE SKY IS FALLING! THE SKY IS FALLING! GRAVITY IS FALLING FROM THE HEAVENS!

    ReplyDelete
  45. gravity is a thing powered by the center of the earth it helps keep us on the ground

    ReplyDelete
  46. Gravity keeps everything on earth on the ground, including us. Weight on earth is unique because of gravity.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Gravity helps things not float up and keep them down.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Gravity keeps the moon in orbit so it doesn't fly away and ruin some planet's life. It also keeps you on the ground so your dreams of flying will never come true.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Without gravity the atmosphere wouldn't exist. Planets wouldn't exist. We would just float around like majestic space dolphins.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Gravity keeps stuff on the earth instead of floating away into outer space. If we didn't have gravity then everything would go into the air instead of falling down. For example if you trip and fall you would fall to the ground instead of floating.

  51. Gravity keeps things on he ground

    ReplyDelete
  52. Gravity keeps us on the ground so wer not floating

    ReplyDelete
  53. Gravity is the force that keeps us on the ground, not in space. (That's all that I know..)

    ReplyDelete
  54. Isaac Newton discovered Gravity. Gravity pulls everything to the Center of the Earth.

    ReplyDelete
  55. When theres an action, theres always a reaction

    ReplyDelete
  56. Gravity is a force that keeps everything on the ground so we can walk run and basically do anything without floating

    ReplyDelete
  57. gravity is what pulls everything torwards earths center

    ReplyDelete
  58. Gravity keeps everything on earth.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Gravity keeps us on the ground and on Earth. Without it we would fly off into space also it makes everything fall.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Gravity keeps us on the ground and on Earth. Without it we would fly off into space. Its also make everything fall.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Gravity hold every thing down

    ReplyDelete
  62. Gravity keep are feet on the ground, and other objects on the ground.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Gravity hold every thing down so we can stand, walk, run, ect.

    ReplyDelete
  64. It was discovered by Newton and gravity pulls everything to the center of the Earth.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Gravity is a force that keeps us on this earth or a surface.

    ReplyDelete
  66. it does not matter what the mass of an object is it still has the same amount of gravity.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Gravity is a force that pulls objects to one big object that has a gravity mass.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Gravity pulls things toward an object (planet, sun, etc.) For example the earth pulls things to the center which is why things fall to the ground, and why we stay on the ground.
