The body's oxygen transport system takes oxygen to the working muscles, through the circulatory and respiratory systems working together. The main workers are the heart, blood and lungs. The whole oxygen transport system works in a cycle.
The circulatory system needs the respiratory system to be able to bring oxygen and nutrients through the body and back to the lungs and heart, where the respiratory system needs the circulatory system. They work together to bring these things to the rest of the body's systems and back. http://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/standard/pe/the_body/structure_and_function/revision/5/
The Circulatory system and the respiratory system works together because the heart and the Vains pumps blood and the lungs need that blood and the lungs pump air which the heart needs. q
The Circulatory and Respiratory System work together because the Respiratory System creates Oxygen for the Circulatory System to pump through the body with blood.
All of the body's organs work together in a way. The lungs bring in oxygen and the heart puts the oxygen into the blood. One the oxygen is within the blood it gives food and energy to the cells and organs. Then once the blood has been through out all of the body it exits the waste. The waste is what is not need, for example like carbon dioxide that we do not need to live.

The Respiratory and circulatory work together by we inhale and the oxygen travels through blood which gets pumped to the heart and then it goes to the lungs and we exhale making one full rotation.
The Lungs get oxygen, which helps muscles, as Brain said. (Yes, I read others answers and take notes.) The blood keeps your cells alive, and so does oxygen.

The circulatory and respiratory system work together by assisting each other in the oxygenation of blood, and the carrying of such blood throughout the body.
The lungs oxygenate the blood, witch in turn pumps through the arteries, and brings nourishment through the body. When the oxygen leaves the arteries, it comes back through the veins.
They both keep you alive.
