  4. While looking at a map of the sea floor, you would find the oldest rock closer to the land on the edges of the ocean, and you would find the youngest rock at the middle of the ocean. You would find this because volcanoes are constantly making new rock in the center of the ocean.

  7. The oldest rock on the sea floor is number 2 because blue means it is the oldest rock that has been there. The youngest rock is number 1 which means it is new rock that is not to old. The some what old and new is number b3 which means it has been there for a few hundred years.

The eldest rock would be found near land, whilst the youngest one would be chillin' in the middle of ocean due to seafloor spreading, more and more baby rocks are being made. While elder ones are pushed away, closer to land! :3
