Bumper Cars

Chris is on a bumper car ride. Two students in another car are head toward Chris for a collision. Kyle thinks this could be a great example to show Newton's Third Law. Do you agree with Kyle? Explain.

  1. yes. chris would go backwards to the reaction.

  2. yes i agree with kyle.

  3. I do agree because when two things hit each other going one way they end up going the other way in the end.

  4. I agree with Kyle.

Because the impact would push Cris back

  7. Yes i agree because it has accelaration

  8. yes i agree with kyle.

  9. I do agree because both of the carts would go backwards, therefor having an equal and opposite reaction.

  10. Yes i agree with kyle because when they colide they will react to the action.

  11. Yes, I do agree with kyle because the carts, after coliding would be sent backwards a little bit.

  12. Yes because it bumps back

  13. Yes I do agree with Kyle.

  14. I agree because if they collide Chris's bumper car will bump back from the force of the larger bumper car hitting his. And I think that Chris will fall out of the bumper car, and then a 601 pound bumper car will run him over. :D

  15. Yes, I agree with Kyle because the impact of the other car would push Cris backwards.

  16. Yes because they will both bump back in collusion.

  17. I agree with Kyle because the carts would go in opposite directions when there is a collision.

  18. I agree with me

  19. I will die because kyle is a jerk face and the newtons and mass are too much force. Why did I look at this girl. And Cal was right.

  20. I agree with Kyle because the sudden stop will send him forward.

  21. Kyle is right..........

  22. I agree with kyle because the carts would both bounce into opposite direction when they hit each other

  23. Yes, i agree with Kyle because both the cars would move backwards.

  24. I agree with Kyle because the other car would push Cris backwards.

  25. I do because it would show that when things hit each other there is a reaction.

  26. Yes because two are stronger than one.

  27. I agree with Kyle because it shows what happens when objects hit each other.

  28. i believe since they are BUMBER cars they would both bump backwards

  29. Absolutely, that is a fantastic example of Newton's Third Law, because once the cars hit, the same amount of force would push them back.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yes because the third law has to do with two objects in collision.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I do agree with Kyle because both cars would move away from each other after the hit.

    ReplyDelete
  32. i agree this is a great example of newton's third law because when they hit it will cause a reaction .

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yes because the collision would move the bumper car back.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I agree with Kyle because Newton's Third law states that for every action there is an equal or opposite reaction so when the two cars hit each other they will push away from each other.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I agree with Kyle because when the cars collide, they will both shoot back in the opposite direction.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yes because in the car with two people would have a bigger mass to push the car back.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yes because that would create an equal and opposite reaction.

  38. I do agree with Kyle, this is a great example of Newton's 3rd Law and Inertia.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I agree with Kyle because they will both move back.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I agree, because this is an example of reaction and opposite reaction, which is explained in Newton's third law.

  41. I agree with kyle because the carts would both bounce into opposite direction when they hit each other

    ReplyDelete
  42. It is a great example of Newton's Third Law because they would both be pushed back.

  43. FORD why be broken if you could be POWERSTOKEN

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yes because the action is going forward and they hit the other carts then they move back.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Newton's Third law states "for every action there is an equal or opposite reaction" so i agree with kyle.

  46. I do agree because both of the carts would go backwards, therefor having an equal and opposite reaction.
