Mitosis and Meiosis are similiar because they both seperate into other cells. They are different because when Mitosis separates its cells are the same. But with Meiosis the cells will be different.
Mitosis is different from Meiosis because Mitosis is asexual and Meiosis is sexual reproduction, The are similar because they both make new chromosomes.
Mitosis and meiosis are alike and different. They are alike because they both are the division of cells. They are different because meiosis is sexual reproduction, but mitosis is asexual reproduction.
How are mitosis and meiosis similar and how are they different from one another? Both mitosis and meiosis are associated with cytokinesis. The end result of both are daughter cells produced from a parent cell. The fundamental sequence of events in mitosis is the same as in meiosis (in meiosis it happens twice). Both processes include the breakdown of the nuclear membrane, the separation of genetic material into two groups, followed by cell division and the reformation of the nuclear membrane in each cells. The processes differ in two fundamental. Meiosis has two rounds of genetic separation and cellular division while mitosis only has one of each. In meiosis homologous chromosomes separate leading to daughter cells that are not genetically identical. In mitosis the daughter cells are identical to the parent as well as to each other.

The two are different because mitosis means asexual reproduction, meiosis means sexual reproduction. The two are alike because they are use division of cells.
They Both Focus on Cell Reproduction, and Cell division, Mitosis = 2 Identical Strands, Turns into 2 Cells. Meiosis = 2 Cells Combine to make 1 Whole New Cell.

ReplyDeleteHow mitosis and meiosis are similiar is that they make new chromosomes. How they're different is that mitosis is asexual and meiosis is sexual.

ReplyDeleteThey both make chromosomes. mitosis uses asexual reproduction, while meiosis uses sexual reproduction to make chromosomes.

ReplyDeleteThe difference is that mitosis takes one cell meiosis takes two cells.
ReplyDeleteMitosis and Meiosis are similiar because they both seperate into other cells. They are different because when Mitosis separates its cells are the same. But with Meiosis the cells will be different.
ReplyDeleteMitosis is different from meosis because mitosis is 1 cell that makes 2 more identicle cels and meosis is 2 cells that become 1.
ReplyDeletemitosis and meiosis are similiar because they make new chromosomes.
ReplyDeleteMitosis is different from meiosis because the cells have different needs.
ReplyDeletemitosis and meiosis make cells.
ReplyDeleteMitosis is asexual reproduction, and Meiosis is sexual Reproduction.
ReplyDeleteThey are alike because they both make new chromosomes and new cells.
Mitosis and meiosis both make new chromosomes.
ReplyDeleteMitosis and meiosis is the division of cells.
ReplyDeleteBefore cell division the chromosome splits in half .
DeleteMitosis is cell duplication and meiosis is the division of cells.
ReplyDeleteMitosi splits th organisim miosis gives dna.
ReplyDeleteMitosis is different from Meiosis because Mitosis is asexual and Meiosis is sexual reproduction, The are similar because they both make new chromosomes.
ReplyDeleteMitosis is a cell the reproduces and the meiosis divides the cells, Mitosis is a faster process then meiosis thats why we heal.
ReplyDeleteWell meiosis and mitosis both have reproduction in common. And there difference meiosis has daughters but not identical to the parent like mitosis.

ReplyDeleteMitosis is asexual and Meiosis is sexual reproduction.
ReplyDeletemitosis is asexual reproduction and meiosis is sexual reproduction
ReplyDeleteAsexual and Sexual, respectively.
ReplyDeleteThe two are different because mitosis means asexual reproduction, meiosis means sexual reproduction. The two are alike because they are use division of cells.

They both have start with M. They are different by Mitosis makes to of the same cell and meiosis to make a new cell that is not the same.
ReplyDeleteThe difference is that Mitosis is asexual and Meiosis is sexual reproduction. They are similar because they are both division of cells.
ReplyDeleteThey are both cell reproduction, mitosis is one cell that splits into two, and meiosis are two cells that combine to make one new cell.
ReplyDeleteThe both are divisions of cells.
ReplyDeletemitosis and meiosis will make cells.
ReplyDeleteThey both reproduce.
ReplyDeleteMitosis is asexual and Meiosis is sexual reproduction, there similar because they are both devisions of cells.
ReplyDeleteThe two are different because mitosis means asexual reproduction, meiosis means sexual reproduction. The two are alike because they are use division of cells.
ReplyDeleteThey both use divisions of cells and the they are different because mitosis means asexual reproduction and meiosis mean sexual reproduction.
ReplyDeleteThey both reproduce.
DeleteMitosis is different from meosis because mitosis is 1 cell that makes 2 more identicle cels and meosis is two cells that become One.
ReplyDeleteMitosis and meiosis are both the same because they both create a new thing.
ReplyDeleteThey both are part of the sexual reproduction.
ReplyDeleteMitosis and meiosis both have the first letter which is M. Mitosis is asexual and meiosis is sexual reproduction.
ReplyDeleteMitosis and Meiosis are alike because they are both cells reproducing.
ReplyDeleteThey both have reproduction and they are different because they reproduce differently. (Asexual and Sexual.)
ReplyDeleteThe Pizza Is Aggressive.
DeleteThe difference between mitosis and meiosis is,
ReplyDeleteMitosis: Is one cell that divides into two.
Meiosis: Two cells that combine together.
They are both reproduction. Mitosis is the on that splits in to two and meiosis makes one cell by combining two cells.
ReplyDeleteMitosis means asexual reproduction meiosis means sexual reproduction.
