  2. How mitosis and meiosis are similiar is that they make new chromosomes. How they're different is that mitosis is asexual and meiosis is sexual.

They both make chromosomes. mitosis uses asexual reproduction, while meiosis uses sexual reproduction to make chromosomes.

  8. The difference is that mitosis takes one cell meiosis takes two cells.

  9. Mitosis and Meiosis are similiar because they both seperate into other cells. They are different because when Mitosis separates its cells are the same. But with Meiosis the cells will be different.

  10. Mitosis is different from meosis because mitosis is 1 cell that makes 2 more identicle cels and meosis is 2 cells that become 1.

    1. Before cell division the chromosome splits in half .

  19. Mitosis is different from Meiosis because Mitosis is asexual and Meiosis is sexual reproduction, The are similar because they both make new chromosomes.

  20. Mitosis is a cell the reproduces and the meiosis divides the cells, Mitosis is a faster process then meiosis thats why we heal.

  21. Well meiosis and mitosis both have reproduction in common. And there difference meiosis has daughters but not identical to the parent like mitosis.

  22. Mitosis and meiosis are alike and different. They are alike because they both are the division of cells. They are different because meiosis is sexual reproduction, but mitosis is asexual reproduction.

  23. How are mitosis and meiosis similar and how are they different from one another? Both mitosis and meiosis are associated with cytokinesis. The end result of both are daughter cells produced from a parent cell. The fundamental sequence of events in mitosis is the same as in meiosis (in meiosis it happens twice). Both processes include the breakdown of the nuclear membrane, the separation of genetic material into two groups, followed by cell division and the reformation of the nuclear membrane in each cells. The processes differ in two fundamental. Meiosis has two rounds of genetic separation and cellular division while mitosis only has one of each. In meiosis homologous chromosomes separate leading to daughter cells that are not genetically identical. In mitosis the daughter cells are identical to the parent as well as to each other.

  35. They Both Focus on Cell Reproduction, and Cell division, Mitosis = 2 Identical Strands, Turns into 2 Cells. Meiosis = 2 Cells Combine to make 1 Whole New Cell.

  52. They both have reproduction and they are different because they reproduce differently. (Asexual and Sexual.)

  53. The difference between mitosis and meiosis is,

Mitosis: Is one cell that divides into two.
Meiosis: Two cells that combine together.

    ReplyDelete
  54. They are both reproduction. Mitosis is the on that splits in to two and meiosis makes one cell by combining two cells.
