What are the three types of neurons and what are their functions?

  1. the sensor neuron is what helps you feel then it sends a message to the interneuron which tells you how it feels then it sends a message to the motor neuron to tell you to let it go.

  2. Sensory neurons typically have a long dendrite and short axon, and carry messages from sensory receptors to the central nervous system.
Motor neurons have a long axon and short dendrites and transmit messages from the central nervous system to the muscles or to glands.
Interneurons are found only in the central nervous system where they connect neuron to neuron.

  5. The three types of neurons are motor neuron, sensory neuron, and interneuron. They all send different signals and do different things.

  6. The three types of neurons are sensory, interneuron, and motor neurons. The sensory neurons feel the stimuli, and send it to the interneurons, which then send to the motor neurons to react.

  7. The three types of neurons are sensory neurons, interneurons and motor neurons. The function of sensory neurons is to convert external stimuli. The function of interneurons is to form a connection
between other neurons. Lastly, the function of motor neurons is to to produce muscle movement.

  13. The 1st of the three types of neurons is The Sensory neurons they usually have a long dendrite and a short axon, they also carry messages from sensory receptors to the central nervous system. The second type of neurons is the motor neurons, they have a long axon and a short dendrite, they send messages from the central nervous system to the muscles or glands. The next and last type of neurons is the inter neurons They are found only in the central nervous system where they they connect neuron to neuron.

  14. Motor neurons: reactions
    Sensory neurons:sense whats around you
    Interneurons: tells your motor neurons

  15. The sensory neurons see what will happen so it sends a message to internerons which sends a message to motor neurons to do a action.

  17. 1. Motor Neuron, moves your limbs. 2. Sensory Neuron, they receive messages. 3.Interneuron, it tells the motor neurons what to do.

  26. There is the Motor Neuron and this moves your limbs, there is the Sensory Neuron and this receives the messages from your brain, and there is the Interneuron Neuron this one tells the motor neurons what to do.

  29. The three types of neurons are sensory neurons that feel the stimuli and send it to the interneurons, the second type, and then they send them to the motor neurons, the third type, to react to the stimuli.

  32. The three types of neurons are interneurons, motor neurons and sensory neurons. The sensory neurons detect stimuli and transmit stimulus to the CNS. The interneurons lie w/in CNS receive signals from incoming sensory neurons, interpret them and stimulate outgoing motor neurons; 90% of neurons are these. Motor neurons send signals to muscles and gland cells form CNS.

  33. The three types of neurons are Sensory Neurons, Interneurons, and Motor Neurons. The Sensory Neurons tell you when things are happening using your senses. Example: If someone was throwing something at you, your Sensory Nerves ( Through the eyes) would send a signal to the brain to tell you to move out of the way, or block it with your hands. The Motor Neurons send signals to your brain to move, and do things. Example: You get to class, and the teacher says to sit in a chair. The Motor Neurons would send the signals to your brain to tell you to sit. The Interneurons connect the Sensory Neurons and Motor Neurons together.

  34. The three types of neurons are interneurons, sensory, and motor. Interneurons connect to other neurons, sensory neurons transmits information. exp light, temperature, sound and smell. Finally the motor neuron carries electric signal to muscle.

  35. there are three types of neurons motor, sensory and inter neurons. The functon of the inter neuron is to think see and perceive.Motor neurons specifically controls and stimulate voluntary muscles. and the sensory neurons are your senses like feeling, and sight

  36. The three types of neurons are sensory, motor, and interneurons. Sensory neurons sends information about your senses like sound, smell, etc. Motor neurons specifically controls your muscles that makes you move. Finally, the interneurons act like a link between the sensory and the motor neuron, sending the info one way.

  39. The three types of neurons are sensory, interneuron and motor. The functions of them are that the sensory neurons feel things and then send them to the interneurons, then the interneurons send the signal to the motor neurons.
